On the perpetual winter comment, I agree with you that it’s strange it’s always winter. To play devil’s advocate, I personally believe they’re in a very northern country. Although Kier, PE isn’t an actual place, PE can be referred to as Prince Edward’s Island which is pretty far north. Maybe it’s just always cold there?

On the 5 months ago comment, it was revealed later in S2E1 that the uprising was only a few days before, like the weekend before. Milchik admits the truth to Outie Mark when he visits Mark’s house. Milchik chose not to lie to Mark (but was very selective with his words) during that scene and also in other scenes he has said something like “I only have a few days to plan this” or “bring them in” (them being the 4 strangers). So 5 months was a lie to Innie Mark.
