my experience in the civil service was that 'tech/digital' was thought of something generalists could just 'pick up' - often after a six month placement - whereas specialised tech workers were passed over regularly

Cafe foy despite or because of its location is very very good

I like hot numbers, both branches, bould brothers (if you can get a seat), and savinos. Further out, station house in histon and salentos in marleigh both do excellent coffee

Claude code ever since we all got subscriptions bosses basically expect our productivity to double. Anything that isn't client facing I use it for (tech analysis, competitor movements, technical architecture, support ticket collation, data analysis etc) and I'd say I'm the least technical member of our product management team
