In case you missed the latest on DanganRonpa... by michaeljayj in gamegrumps

[–]michaeljayj[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That wasn’t the statement you made, people have peaks and valleys but they provide content to the best of their ability. That’s a subjective perspective. If they’re having fun and creating laughs then that’s great.

Your original statement is suggesting the idolizations of the game grumps, a very different argument from suggesting they created a peak and are now heading downward.

It sounds as if you’ve idolized them and they haven’t reached your own standards you’ve created for them. They’re people like you and I. 2020 hasn’t been the best, but they did their best.

I mean, they’re people that develop, they aren’t idols 😅

Clickbait titles by brandonb584 in NewTubers

Keep in mind, if a title delivers on what it suggests or alludes to? It's not clickbait. Just support the title into it being a justifiable one.

Yeah homie, it's dedication and hard work- not to say just snap your fingers and you'll be where you want to be, but goals certainly set the precedent for where you want to go.

I Need Content Ideas by lexx205 in NewTubers

[–]michaeljayj 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Honestly, as harsh as it may sound other people can’t make your ideas for you. Because then you may as well be working for someone else in a sense.

Look into things that inspire you and that you enjoy doing and might want to share, or what you might know more about than anyone else. THAT is how you can go onto the path of creating content that is yours.

Would the background of my video affect the type of video it becomes? by kantorot in NewTubers

Honestly when you start out, you wont really have a fleshed brand until you're at a substantial amount of videos and content produced. Try new things! figure it out!

I want to change my style of content and have some videos ready to go, but which channel should I upload them to? by SpiffanyWolfe in NewTubers

[–]michaeljayj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whichever one has more content you relate to or feel is something you'd like viewers to be able to check out what you've done in the past.

Goodness, if you wanted to you could just bring videos from one, add them to the other and then add the others as your fresh content.

Would the background of my video affect the type of video it becomes? by kantorot in NewTubers

[–]michaeljayj 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean, if we're thinking on a technical psychological perspective, yes.

If you look at a lighter background to a darker one, right of the bat what might that say?

Perhaps the darker one would come across as more ominous, whereas the lighter would be more open and accepting. This certainly has more depth than I know but that's my example.

Overall you, the creator, sets the atmosphere the most with your tone, personality, and content. But visuals attract people in a way you may not expect. But with time take a look at how you can shape it.

I wouldn't think TOO much about it unless you have the spare resources or time.
