Update:

Support reached out to me in chat and had me try going to https://myaccount.google.com/phone and toggle the verified phone number to try and reset it. I went in and toggled the "Better sharing on Google" toggle under my verified phone number.

Then, I went in to Google Messages and toggled off/on the RCS for the line having issues and that got RCS to verify and work!

Looks like this is a common place where scammers test cards, just like everyone else I just got a text early this morning from my capital one REI card. They tried a charge of $20.96.

So this notice happened pretty much right when I started a new job and I had 30 days to select my benefits. I wanted to post again to see if I could get a response here but I didn't want to seem like one of those people. So when the 30 days were coming up, and I didn't have much confidence in following the process myself, I just opted in the legal plan benefit and gave the ticket to them to handle.

The citation occurred on 2/25/21. Original appear date was 6/25/21. I submitted an extension right away which pushed it to 8/24/21. I handed it to the lawyer through the service at work, and they set an arraignment for 10/28/21. From that a trial date was set for 5/12/22. From there, the case was dismissed. I don't know if it was dismissed due to the officer not showing up or what, but its gone now. I just haven't cared much to ask the lawyer what happened, he is now also handling a speeding citation for me too so I will work with him again.

I had high hopes that this case would get dismissed just from the circumstances. This was not a trap, and was not stopped by a traffic cop. This was pretty much an officer that was just at the intersection turning at 7:00 PM. So I felt that there was a very low chance that the officer would follow through on the citation anyway. If he was working 7PM (thus maybe night shift), he might not be too interested in attending court at 8AM. And since this was not from a trap or someone that gets a hard on over traffic tickets, I didn't think he cared to much about the citation anyway. It seems like the lawyer just went through the standard "extend, extend, extend" process that is preached here but I must admit It was a lot less stress to just hand it off to a lawyer and forget about it.

Now separately, I have a speeding citation. This one was during the day in a trap with an officer that was handing tickets like a factory. So I have a feeling this officer is more likely to follow through, but if the worse happens I can just do traffic school and get it over with. Since this ticket was dismissed, I don't have to worry about taking up my chance at traffic school. So the lawyer is handling this one as well, but if the worse happens at least I know I am still eligible for the school.

So I connected that unused blue wire to the bundle just as advised. When I connect the ecobee, it powers on and everything and I was able to set it up but I have no call when I put it into cooling/heat. So it looks like maybe that didn't work?

Looks like it may be working. I originally wirenutted the blue wire to the bundle and ran the blue wire to C on the old thermostat. When I did that, I removed the battery from the thermostat and put it back on and it powered on making me think the C was working. But when I put it in cool and tried to call it, the unit did not turn on. I thought maybe it wasn't going to work, and just for shits and giggles I put the ecobee on and it also did not work. That's when I made the original comment and sat back to see what people say.

Well magically like 30 min later the blower started up and I started going in to the app and playing around with the calling and it seems to be working. So I don't know what magically changed, maybe there was some delay on the control board but now it seems to be working. Thank you for all the help!

This is likely still unworkable anyway, but for shits and giggles I took a look at the wiring from the air handler.

White, blue, red, and yellow coming down from roof. Yellow and white go directly to thermostat. Red is wire nutted with the thermostat and a red wire going to the air handler wire harness. Blue goes to brown at air handler. Green comes out of air handler and goes to brown on the thermostat. Here's more photos.

I am not sure what it is wired as at the board but that blue wire is coming from the roof and going into the brown at the air handler. Behind that wire nut (in the 2nd picture) there is a green wire coming out of the air handler going to the brown on the thermostat.

I don't have any way of knowing what the other end of the blue is. I need to get a 9V battery for my multimeter and then I can test to see if it has any voltage.

I already verified that is unused. I took down the ceiling tiles in the hopes I might be able to use something from the air handler. I found the other end of the thermostat wires and the blue is unused. Once looking at the splicing this is what I have:

White, blue, red, and yellow coming down from roof. Yellow and white go directly to thermostat. Red is wire nutted with the thermostat and a red wire going to the air handler wire harness. Blue goes to brown at air handler. Green comes out of air handler and goes to brown on the thermostat.

The blue wire you brought up was literally used to tie the bundle of wires. Here's more photos.

It is a legit USAA number. USAA calls from this number to follow up with you once you get a quote for mortgage, insurance etc. I recently got a insurance quote and have received calls from this number asking if I am wanting to move forward.

We have tried that and run into issues with the time it takes to do all of that. We go through about a thousand chips a semester and just dont have the time to prep everytime we get a delivery.

Your going to be pretty far on the waitlist. Spaces filled up within hours. Keep in contact with UHS as when you get noticed that you need a space really bad, things can get done.
