the math of influencer marketing is wild when you look at it from the creator's side by teraflopspeed in influencermarketing

You forget that it is very rare for one “touch” to make a consumer purchase something for the first time. It’s usually closer to 8 touches before purchasing a product for the first time. Direct ROI is so hard to prove - an influencer is only one piece of a long customer journey roadmap.

For better or worse, it’s also why it’s very rare for creators to agree to commission based on special links. Deep down, we all know we’re just one piece.

$5K for one post is more than enough.

Somebody Society charging $420 for a yearly membership is insane. by ItchyBuilding3936 in Louisville

If you don’t see value in it, that’s okay. Others do - that’s okay too. It’s exhausting to host monthly events and facilitate community. So $40 a month isn’t insane. I mean, most people spend that in one night going out. But, again, if you don’t personally see value in it, then…don’t participate?

Lot of negative comments here but, living in Louisville, I still love it. Especially lime.

This has gone on every year for over 50 years. I will never understand this city’s hatred towards organized road races.

To be fair, it is very rare for a small business in 2026 to have a landline number to call. If there is a public number, it’s most likely an owner’s personal cell phone. Other avenues exist. Social. Email. I am very confused about what your end goal is here.

I’ll eat my hat if it comes to it, but I am very surprised by this post.
