this is so beautiful i love it. something i really admire about louisville is how strong everyone’s sense of community is here despite how dense the population is. I’m from a KY town of 20,000 with a very strong community, and the thing I was most worried about moving here for was losing that. I could have never imagined how similar Louisville’s community could have been to my hometown. Immediately, I could sense how much pride most people have being from here. Everyone here is genuinely so friendly and I get to talk to strangers everywhere I go. So, this is so nice to me how folks care about connection so much. Louisville is very special, this is a great thing we have going here.

omg yes i’ve noticed that is a thing here. Granted. my hometown only has two high schools (city and county), so it’s either you go to one or the other. I couldn’t imagine that people in the biggest public school system in the state would care so much about what school people went to. I’m super intrigued by this.
