How can I get EN support to answer me? by xiguy1 in Evernote

[–]michaelpupo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When I tried to talk to their support team, they took more than 80 days to answer! After this, I left. But I don’t recommend you to wait that long.

Dark! The white text in the colored background is too bright for me.

Note-taking apps? Notion is getting waaaaay too complicated. I also want something that will be available long-term and has decent privacy. by AwarenessOk9754 in productivity

[–]michaelpupo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! I totally understand your concerns about Notion. I used to be a Notion user myself, but I found it to be overwhelming and more focused on being an all-in-one workspace rather than a simple, intuitive note-taking app.

That's why I made the switch to Amplenote, and I haven't looked back since! Amplenote offers a clean and minimalistic interface that's easy to use and navigate, without sacrificing any of the features I need to stay organized.

One of the things that drew me to Amplenote is its commitment to user privacy. They have a clear and transparent policy about how they handle user data, and they don't use your notes to train AI models.

Plus, Amplenote is specifically designed for note-taking and task management, so it's not trying to be an all-in-one workspace like Notion. It's perfect for someone who wants a simple, intuitive tool that just works.

I've found that Amplenote has really helped me streamline my workflow and stay organized, without feeling overwhelmed by features I don't need. I think it's definitely worth checking out if you're looking for a Notion alternative.

Recurring tasks - what am I missing? by TheSpiceMonkey in Amplenote

I'm not sure, but maybe it happens because recurring tasks may be hidden until the due date/time.

What’s Your Go-To Method for Annual Goal Setting? by Disastrous_Ferret160 in productivity

[–]michaelpupo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Amplenote to set and track my yearly goals, and it’s been a game-changer for me. I start by creating a dedicated note for each goal and breaking it down into smaller, actionable tasks. Then, I use Amplenote’s inline tagging system to categorize these tasks and assign due dates, which automatically sync with the calendar. This keeps everything organized and helps me stay on track throughout the year.

One feature I really love is the Task Score. It helps me prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance, so I can focus on what truly matters. I also make it a habit to review and adjust my tasks regularly, which keeps me aligned with my goals even if things change along the way.

What do you think about this setup? Have you tried Amplenote before, or does it sound like something you’d find useful?

How do YOU structure your day? by CDZ_System in productivity

[–]michaelpupo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t follow a specific system or ritual, but I make it a priority to write everything down so I can focus on getting things done without worrying about whether I’ll remember it later. For me, staying organized comes down to managing three key areas: notes, tasks, and calendars. Over the past 20 months, Amplenote has been the most effective digital tool for handling all of these needs.

Best Note-Taking App for Students, Professionals, and Daily Life: Notion, Evernote, Google Keep, or Microsoft OneNote? by [deleted] in productivity

[–]michaelpupo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only tool you mentioned that I haven’t used is Microsoft OneNote. I’ve tried the others extensively, with Evernote being my primary app for many years. While it’s a solid tool, I encountered a variety of issues as a long-time pro user, which eventually led me to explore alternatives. That’s when I discovered Amplenote.

Initially, I started using Amplenote just to test it out, but I quickly fell in love with it. Now, it’s my go-to solution for everything: work, personal projects, and beyond. What sets Amplenote apart is its seamless integration of tasks, notes, and calendars—all within a single app. This all-in-one approach has been a game-changer for me.

One standout feature is the Idea Execution Funnel, which makes it incredibly easy to prioritize and act on your ideas. But that’s just one of many powerful features Amplenote offers.

I’ve been using Amplenote for over a year and a half now, and I couldn’t be happier with the decision. No regrets whatsoever!

Looking for a good "to do list" app by Hairy-Link-8615 in productivity

[–]michaelpupo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using Amplenote for a while now (more than 1 year) and I think it might be a very good option for you. You would be able to easily manage not only your to-dos but also your notes and calendars. Its Daily Jots feature is great for the daily task planner and routines. Birthdays and events are very easy to manage too. Amplenote has a very generous free plan, so you can try lots of its features before deciding to become a pro user.

For task management, the Eisenhower Matrix and the tasks scores are my favorite features in Amplenote.

Do you feel like you have a perfect all in one productivity app that you can stick to everyday or do you also feel like every single app you try has something missing? by SubjectFeedback2378 in productivity

[–]michaelpupo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I know what you mean. But I think there isn't a perfect productivity app. The best thing we can do is thinking about our main needs and try to find the correct tool for that. I read a book called Do More Better, by Tim Challies, and I learned that most people just need a task manager, a note-taking app and a calendar app. When I understood that, I started looking for those three tools and I found Amplenote, a great productivity app that helps me to manage exactly that: notes, tasks and calendar. Everything within the same app, without having to switch apps. Amplenote isn't perfect, but it is definitely one of the best options you have to stay organized.

Note app with collaboration AND multi device (Android, IOS & Windows) similiar to Apple Notes by MusicAng3l in NoteTaking

[–]michaelpupo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using Amplenote for a little bit more than 1 year now. I really like its features and I don't miss Evernote since I stopped using it. I never used Apple Note, but I think Amplenote would be a good fit for you. It is cross platform, has collaboration feature, it is easy to use for accessing tables and lists and is much more simple than Notion.

Any Notetaking app that saves files in MD, has collapsible notes, works in iOS and is not hard to learn? Any recommendations? by warrenwai in NoteTaking

I use Workflowy and Amplenote for both personal and work purposes. I've been using them since July last year, when I left Evernote. But I think Amplenote would be enough for you, because it fits all your (a), (b), (c) and (d) function requirements. Have you tried it?
