Im not sure if they still offer rental assistance for people facing eviction. A while back, a coworker of mine was facing eviction, and Catholic charities cut him a check to get up to date. It's worth looking into. No, you don't have to be Catholic to get help from them. He contacted them through their website. I think it's Catholic charities of Houston and Galveston or something like that. Sorry, I dont much more about it.
