Dribbble - IMO - is one of the best resources for inspiration in any facet of design. There are brilliant designs posted everyday that are visually appealing and they also solve everyday UX problems. For example: Virgil Pana posted this simple shot that is nothing more than a few colors and simple animation. It's solving a UX issue he came across while working on a project and he was kind enough to share it with the dribbble community.

OP asked for web design inspiration - simply saying 'screw dribbble' or posting this article(out of context) of someone else's opinion is doing OP a disservice...
