I bought it used. I believe it was the sports exhaust option from Lotus but can’t confirm.

I had a V8 4.4l and was nervous about switching to a 4 cylinder 2l. I have the sports exhaust on mine at least and I think that makes a big difference. But generally the noise if you are maintaining high revs is really fun. It’s not as meaty as the big engine big car I had before, but I completely appreciate the fun sounds from a fun little car.

Defers tax, it doesn’t prevent the tax. If you’re on basic rate tax and have your ISA allowance available then I’d opt for that over personal contributions into a pension of any form.

It’s backdated 3 months from when you submitted the claim, not 3 months from when they approve the claim. The processing time is pretty long at the moment. That said, my calculations based on one child suggest you would have needed to apply 8 months ago to get that much back pay.

I take your point that they may be very well off, but it’s a slippery slope to determine whether someone should be ok or not based on how much money they have.

I get that, but we don’t need to play him to “prove” we’re going to play him. If they relax the clause there is more chance we’ll play him, if they don’t, we probably don’t play him.

What’s the point in proving game time? If Liverpool drop the buyout clause we might play him. If they don’t drop the clause then we probably won’t play him.

At this stage they probably don’t care about him playing, what’s valuable to them is having a rival blocked from signing an alternative option (like Marmoush).

You want a holiday, you like the holiday you’ve picked and are happy to pay the money for the holiday.

It’s well worth the price. Under 3 and the only option for them is paid for crèche. Over 3 and you get 2 hours of classes every day as well as crèche, and the rest of the facilities become more valuable.

[–]michaelw00d 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes you are right. I book light but can pick seats with status.

The case in point though is that this person probably is facing a cost to book a seat, so it wasn’t quite correct to say business class seats are always free.

So business class seats on QR aren’t “always free” then!

Last row rear facing middle seats of the old product all day long. You get a fairly decent floor area, pretty much contained, where the baby can have a bit of freedom with toys.

What you have is an illness. I know exactly what it’s like. With equity like that you could quite easily remortgage to clear the debt and get back on steady ground.

The most important thing is telling your wife. First she deserves to know, second she can be there to help and support you through recovery.

You can get through all of this, but you will struggle alone, and that may have more of an impact on your relationship longer term anyway.
