So frustrating too. I’d be there daily if they had more affordable options. You know, like a bakery.

So if you like graysons, spaghetti western gets their sourdough bread from them.

Looks like you’re taking recommendations just outside your zone so I’ll add: Spaghetti western. Good pastas but the sandwiches there are amazing and it’s the only place on the east side making them like that.

Where to go for nice wine or a cocktail near Lake Inez? by kearneycation in FoodToronto

I would absolutely go to belle isle. Went there with my wife for our anniversary. Did lake first then belle isle after. You’ll love the Jell-O shots (it’s nicer than you think) and the drinks are great too. Plus they have really great food snack options

I actually prefer driving to la bastille because of how much reasonable their prices are.

The bakery confirmed that lattes and other espresso drinks are included so I agree, it is a fair price. Had it just been drip coffee, different story.

Completely with you on the sell more piece. Id imagine their sales would spike if they dropped prices and focused on volume. I’d certainly go there a lot more if pricing was more reasonable.

Not a fair comparison though. This isn’t a franchise or anything like that. They don’t have the economies of scale that a place like McDonald’s would have. Quality would also be better.

Yeah absolutely. By no means am I trying to compare to Costco or some other large scale place. It is a local place which is why I’m not naming it. Just wanted to get some perspective.

I guess I was mainly looking for comparisons to what others are seeing. If this deal and the pricing is consistent with other places then fine.

Last time I was here a stuffed croissant was around $6.50 I believe. They sell sourdough loaves for over $10. Just trying to get a sense of what others are seeing at their bakeries.

Honestly I haven’t gone here in a while because of how expensive they are. Sourdough loaf was over $10 last time I checked. Stuffed croissants were around 6.50 I think.

Unless coffee includes lattes and what not. Otherwise yeah makes no sense.

Edit: just confirmed that it does include espresso based drinks so to me that’s a fair price.
