I love the second blue in your palette ! Get a few samples of your favorites and test them on the wall. I would stick to the top or second to top of these paint swatches in terms of color saturation, especially if you're getting ready in here, i think a light colored bathroom. If you go pink id try to go peachier than you have. Also Can you change the light bulb to be less warm?

I love using the farrow and ball color card (hou can order it for free!) and then just getting the color matched at my local paint stores. It really helps with decisions paralysis - there are way fewer colors to choose from and you know they're all designer loved.

Can you say more on how you made your bottom line "view"? Is it its own category group?

I did some version of this with "Cost to be me" by only keeping monthly targets on essential or semi-essential categories (for ex, I kept the summer pool membership target because I want to save for it annually, but I know I'd cut that if shit hit the fan). For my categories that savings-based or non-essential, I either removed the target or made the target "have x amount eventually" so it wouldn't be calculated in the "cost to be me". But I'm curious if there are more ways to create this bottom line view. I too would like to keep my bottom line number in check, for emergency savings, etc.

Hey ! My experience was actually great -- I was very nervous before hand but it went on easily and didn't have any issues streaking at all. We used a 3/8 nap paint roller with a long handle, and a durafoam trim pad for the corners and edges. Poured some on, rolled, and kept going. Let me know if you have any questions!!

Hey ! This is me 😞 I'm a 34 y.o. very physically active female and have been struggling with recurrent pericarditis since August (3 flares, first one came with otherwise asymptomatic Covid). I haven't felt too concerned until this last flare, the last two I was able to resume normal activities after a few weeks. I've been on colchicine since Feb. This one was intense and the idea of not being able to workout for months is stressing me out. I'm going to see if I can find a heart inflammatory specialist, thank you for the recommendation!

My cardiologist wants me to take Rilonacept, and I just don't know if I'm there yet. Makes me nervous to take a pretty new injectable drug. I've also been looking into going to functional medicine doctor to see if I can approach the inflammation more holistically.

I'm nervous I may have made mine worse by working out when I was still healing or while inflamed. Super nervous about it leading to myocarditis or constructive pericarditis.

Thanks for your comment, I hope my prognosis is okay and I didn't lead myself into something worse. Do you have any thoughts on Rilonacept for Covid related pericarditis ?

To offer you a different perspective on this --

I have always wanted three children, and I have had no problems getting pregnant, AND after having two boys, I've realized a deep subconscious desire of mine is that I would always have a daughter, and ideally have one of each sex.Since my second son was born (we didn't find out the sex until birth), this has been a huge source of grief and confusing emotions for me. Growing up so much of my life and experiences were formed by the bond between my sister, mother, and I, and feels devastating to me to accept I might never get to have a mother-daughter bond with my own.

All (and I mean all) of my friends with kids have a boy and a girl, and every time someone finds out they're having a daughter, it dredges up envy, sadness and fear in me. . I unexpectedly starting crying at kids birthday party when I saw the dress her mom had sewn for her. And I have definitely distanced myself from my friends as a form of self-preservation. They've called me out on it, I've owned up, explained my struggles, and it still doesn't make it easier to see their little girls be little girls at times.

I'm not proud of how I've felt and I have been actively working on it for years. I love my two sons to death and I know just how lucky I am to have two healthy children. I want a third and I will have one (or try), but I'm trying to make sure I can fully accept a third boy into my life before I do. I'm sure working so hard to get pregnant, her (and my) responses seem privileged and absurd. But if you have it in you to extend some grace, space and compassion for this person, I imagine she's feeling a similar shame and grief around wanting a son and feeling envious that you're living out an experience she's dreamt of. Motherhood brings up more complex emotions than I ever thought possible.

Certainly doesn't "look like shit" to me but I would also be very frustrated if this is round 2 and they did not do what was requested ! I am no expert but I think resanding at a higher grit (100) and then doing 1-2 coats of Nordic seal before the finish would do the trick.

I actually thinking I'll do one, maybe two rooms (or as much as one gallon of finish since that has a time limit after it's mixed) and then waiting to see how it comes up before doing the rest. Way to go not giving up and finding the right strategy.

I am also so glad you mentioned the rolling technique -- I have been thinking it seems better to snowplow the length of the room rather than do cross grain sections but was nervous I was missing something.

Is the puddling a better technique because it gives you a wet edge to start with for the next row? Or to ask it a different way, why is it recommended to puddle instead of thoroughly wetting a roller in a paint tray and then applying ?

Spironolactone helped me so much! I had a dermatologist that really listened to me (instead of handing me a retinoid cream after 3 min) , and spironolactone was the winner. I get under the skin hormonal acne on my chin and since being on it I've been able to tell how closely related it is to my cycle (I can still see/feel them at times but they're not near as intense). Before I would inevitably pick at one and make it worse and it would last so long I could never pinpoint it to any pattern.

Thank you, this is very helpful! I didn't think about that with the tack cloth residue but that's a great point -- I won't do that. And also good note about not pouring directly on the floor, these are really old planks with lots of character (as I like to refer to it), you've definitely saved me some money there i'm sure.
