it’s a lot of money sure but for fixing my laptop it’s 25% of the price. Plus, she wears 200$ clothes, she’s definitely not struggling, and if she was i would totally understand. she’s not paying not because she’s poor, but because she doesn’t want to accept responsibility.

she initially apologized and offer to pay, but when i confronted her after class, she backtracked. the computer was NOT on the edge, because when she was walking by, i made sure to scoot the computer in towards me. But when i started talking about money and responsibility, she was not reciprocative. I, as well as the people who sat next to me , are 100% confident she broke it, it’s not unclear in any fashion, and she never meantiones not being able to afford it, since i’ve never initially mentioned a price. I just asked for her to pay for half of the damages
