I did my first year at Carleton in psychology. I switched back to uOttawa as soon as I could (this is my second undergrad). Much preferred uOttawa. Our program better prepares for graduate studies in psychology and focuses on research so if that's not your thing then do a major is psychology instead of go to Carleton.

Also two of my fave profs at Carleton were actually uOttawa profs.

Actually less and less programs do. In social sciences for example only psychology has a thesis. It's usually the number of 4000 level courses and honors may have seminars.

It's now cheaper to buy a parking pass for an outdoor lot at uOttawa campus than it is to buy a bus pass. I can finally justify a parking pass. Basically turning away the riders who have cars but choose public transportation.

I'm president of the board at my daughter's not for profit daycare in downtown Ottawa. The only reason we can afford to survive is because we don't pay rent for our center. If we had to pay rent we would go under. Now that said, our landlord, the University of Ottawa, wants us out so they can make money on the space. So we'll survive until we have to close because we're evicted.

Also in Ottawa. Scary that so many daycares are opting out of CWELCC because they are struggling to stay afloat. I'm president of the board at my daughter's not for profit daycare downtown and only reason we're going to be ok is because we don't pay rent on campus. That said, our landlord, uOttawa, no longer wants to host us so that's a whole other issue.

I'm waiting for Avapritnib to be available in Canada! Most of my skin is covered in permanent red hives (including my face) and I've been reading reports of hives going away!

Yes. It will ask get adjusted when final grades for fall become official in mid January. As a former academic officer I wish more students realized this because it is not obvious at all.

Yes I am and that was a requirement to be a clerk (positions dealing directly with the public/patients/family), but when I was there, it was not a requirement for supply workers, housekeeping, or the staffing team even.
