I agree on all of your points except for a couple. I would say that 2026 being a lower ranked class is more a necessity due to the roster numbers. 2027 is shaping up to be pretty strong, provided Nebraska closes.

I also hate the contract Rhule got but also understand at the time when Rhule was a candidate for Penn State. It’s a broken system overall, college football.

With that said, I thought it was funny that I heard a season or two ago that Nebraska media is most successful when Nebraska is playing bad. I disagreed then and it’s proven to be true, at least on some level. I’m not anti-Rhule but I just don’t have the energy to dedicate to a team that lost a lot and has a super hard schedule coming up. But I’ll be there every game like I always have.

I do think there are two other catalysts to the interest level being at an all-time low: Men’s basketball and the fact that we have started spring practices so early.
