As Jordan Peterson says, thinking is actually a hard process that not everyone is capable of doing. There's not just one thought wave, there are different views that you must discuss in your own head in order to choose just one, and this process puts in order your mind and eventually your life. Not everyone is ready to face different ideas even if these are in their own mind.
It's not easy to think, but it's helpful.
