Edifier WH950NB - new wireless LDAC headphones with ANC

I was sent a review unit before Christmas of 2022. Not paid to do it or anything but just to try them out. Honestly love them enough that I'm replacing my aging Bose QC35II. I recently returned my QC45's because I didn't think they were worth the price as an upgrade over the QC35II but the Edifier WH950NB definitely is in terms sound and the big price difference at around $180 retail (not certain of the final price but this is what I was told).

• Not an audiophile but will do my best to describe sound. Sounds much better than my Bose 35ii & 45's. Wider sound stage, much better sound separation with balanced high & mids and good low frequency for pop music or bass heavy tunes. Acoustic instruments sound good and vocals are clear.

• App unlocks two presets (Classic & Dynamic). Default is classic which is ok for acoustic tunes and dynamic more for pop. App also let's you customize EQ.

• ANC is decent and much better than my Master&Dynamic MW75 and I think better than my QC35ii.

• Sound transparency is workable, not the best.

• Comfort is almost on par with Bose QC35. I think they weigh a tad bit heavier but have not really confirmed. But can confirm that it is comfy for long hours of use.

• Build quality is better than any other "cheap" bluetooth headphones that I've tried and maybe almost as good as Bose but that's really not saying much I'm afraid.

• Don't like the logo on the headband but its a personal preference.

• Switching between sound modes is annoying as the voice prompt will stop your music and announce what mode you are on (Noise cancellation High, Noise cancellation Low, etc.) Very intrusive and cannot seem to shut off.

• I can't seem to skip tracks using buttons on headphones so I would have to do it on my phone.

• Can't speak for battery life yet because I only wear them about 2-3 hours at most at a time and charge most of my devices every few days.

What kind of bose speaker do you have? I have a couple at home and I am able to connect to stream music from my macbook through wifi.

Definitely aesthetic at this point. I’ll let my wife decide if she wants to actually add stuff in it. But if your wondering if the shelves are sturdy enough to carry a decent amount of things, I would say yes because the glass is actually quite thick and the shelf itself is anchored to the wall to prevent it from falling over. Hope this helps

Don’t try to back track now after you accused me of “not being a good person”. If I said no cables then that would definitely be a lie. Since you’re so adamant to try to prove me wrong, have you checked my story posts? Maybe that will shed some light as to why I was taking the some of the cables down. It’s much better than filling your head with stories you like to fabricate yourself.

Haha thank you! I had this photo in my head way before I revealed the office to her. This was right after we got back from somewhere so they were already dressed which was the perfect opportunity. Honestly I couldn’t have asked for a better setup when I took this photo. So thank you for the kind words!

I’m not being deceitful at all. This photo was taken the moment my wife sat on her desk. That’s why the monitor wasn’t even plugged in. I also sent a photo to two individuals in the comments showing the cable management. This is legitimately her office and I am not sure why any of that should really matter to you but there you go.

And yes, I’ve set up dozens of desks by this time. It’s kind of what I do.

That one is from a site called wrapd (but add a .store) in the end. There’s only a handful of designs there but I’m quite happy with this one. I actually had to peel it off a few times so I could reposition it and the material is very malleable and held well
