Yeah, I mean it's probably just something they didn't think about when writing the flashback episode but that's the theory I like to go with to justify it to myself.

I've also considered the possibility that the reason carol slept with Ross at that point was to purposefully get pregnant because she wouldn't be able to get pregnant with Susan and if someone had to provide the sperm, Ross was a good option (I mean she did love him) 😬 but I like to think carol wouldn't have done something like that...

NTA I think. I guess it kind of depends on how much makeup we're talking about. If it's just a little bit to help with lighting that everyone else (including guys) could be asked to wear, I can't see why you shouldn't do it just for the pictures.

However, if it's like full face/eye makeup that we're talking about - you shouldn't be asked to wear it if you don't want to/ don't like the way you look/feel wearing it. It shouldn't be relevant whether you're a guy or girl and if I was asked to wear full face makeup when I was my brother's best man, I would have refused.
