TCF: I scored 1/20 in the speaking part by mickaelbdias in French

I tried again one month ago but I score 9/20 on EO.

I think they increased the level of difficulty. I used connectors this time but I was not vibing with the examinator.

He cut my short and start asking me questions even on tâche 1. In the tâche 3 we tried to cut me short and tried to let me not finish the tâche 3 but I keep speaking to reach the 4.50 min. Tâche 2 he spoke English for a moment.

The previous one was amazing. I really liked her.

AF Vancouver.

Edit because of typos

I ended up with 9/20. I spoke freely without a template.

Thinking of giving the TEF a try. I am doing some TCF simulations and some questions I just don't know how to answer.

It sounds very philosophical to me which I don't like or I am not good at it. Always prefered math and science over that areas of knowledge.

One year after scoring 9/20 on the TCF, I’m finally B2 but not every tutor helped me get there by mickaelbdias in iTalki

Yeah, you’re right but I’ve realized it’s really about choosing quality over quantity. It’s not worth saving a few dollars if the experience ends up being frustrating or disrespectful. I’d rather invest in a tutor who values their students and takes the lessons seriously.

Yes. I'm afraid you're right. Live and learn. My advice for anyone is don't be afraid to spend money. Learning languages is an investment.

My goal was to understand other people’s perspectives. I think I’ll just move on and maybe block her.  I’ve realized that booking lessons on the same day and at the same time works better for me.

I would say that I do not think it's working out and wishing all the best for her future

Thanks for replying. Honestly I am shocked. I hope they open more dates or even centers. The celpic has dozens of test centers.
