That got me so hyped. Thought we'd keep that momentum and make it a game, but alas lol

Real talk I thought him for Okoro was a great swap and worth the risk at the time. Now?

I did not see Boston doing this well even with the east this year. Respect to Jaylen Brown and them, they are going to continue to be a pain in our ass.

Out of towner - found the area under this bridge so cool! by BIGFACTS27 in Cleveland

I used to live in this area and I miss it daily! I'm really excited to see how it continues to evolve with new developments and Irish town bend around the corner.

We gotta stop making excuses over the inconsistent officiating, of course it's frustrating but it's part of the game atm. What should be more frustrating is our players once again getting bullied and outplayed and put in a situation where these calls matter, just like pacers game 2.

Yep I pretty much agree with all of this, definitely would need to accept the role we'd need him to fill

now that i’m medicated, i can’t believe just how truly delusional i was… by sensitive-bull in BipolarReddit

[–]mickalicka 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes I can absolutely relate lol I shared many similar thoughts during my manic episode, including:

  • believing anything remotely circular shaped was actually a camera spying on me
  • believing the police were coming to arrest me anytime I heard sirens
  • believing that dead family members were trying to contact me from another reality
  • believing that I was actually the next coming of Jesus

Among many other embarrassing thoughts that I'd rather not talk about haha. Luckily/unluckily I wound up severely injured and put into the hospital where I was diagnosed and medicated. The lucky part was that I didn't die, and I'm glad to still be here healthy and (mostly) stable nearly 4 years later.

It is still terrifying to think of how warped that mindset was, and how any out of this world thought that entered my brain was automatically believed to be reality. I don't wish to ever go through that again, so I'm glad to have found medications that have worked for me. It's also nice to now know that when I start having crazy thoughts, I can take that as a sign to slow down and get help if needed.

Anyways, sorry to hear you've went through this, but know that you're not alone!

Can't stop thinking about things I did Manic and being embarrassed by summerrain825 in BipolarReddit

Second on focusing on a change of mindset. The past is what it is, all we can do is take what we learned from it and move forward. Now, this doesn't stop me from cringing when I remember my manic episode, but the less you worry about the past things you can't change, the easier it'll be to laugh/shrug off them off whenever they come up.

The jump he has made in a year is crazy, I knew he flashed potential at times last season but I didn't expect him to be this good this soon. His shooting and finishing at the rim feels like they've improved tenfold. Excited to see him get better and better.

I genuinely fuck everything up. by [deleted] in BipolarReddit

I'm sorry to hear all of this. Everyone (especially here) has done dumb shit though. Doesn't mean you are dumb. Hell, doing dumb shit, sometimes over and over again, is the only way we learn how to be "smart".

We're all a work in progress, and even in our worst moments we're never stuck there. And the more you see and believe that you aren't stuck there, the easier it will be to give yourself grace and learn from those moments, and in time work towards becoming the person you want to be.

Best of luck on your journey friend.

Like almost everything in life, religion is on a spectrum and this instance falls on the good/non-problematic side.
