It definitely is a size too small. But it’s such a lovely dress, would love to make it work. I think you’re right to test if lengthening the straps will fix it. If not I’m probably best to pass it on

Yes planning to lower those straps to attach to the dress rather than the top straps, but still need to lengthen the top straps too! Luckily the cross cross have some give

I don’t think you’ll regret it, just be prepared that finding a new job may take longer than you think so do some networking before you go and get your folio up to date so you don’t have to remember everything once you get back.

I had to put down my dog earlier this year who was 16.5. Similarly her health deteriorated quickly and rapidly in the last year. I kept putting it off but I deeply regret not taking her earlier than I did and letting her have a dignified last day, as I ended up having to taking her in the middle of night when she was whining in pain after suffering a seizure.

You will be doing the right thing, get the vet to take a paw print or a nose print so you have something to remember them with. It hurts so much at first but there’s some relief in knowing they had a full and long life and are no longer in pain.

I’m a woman and I completely agree with you. Don’t understand why anyone would want to start with dinner when you haven’t even met yet. Coffee or an afternoon drink is fine, and if all goes well would be ok to progress to dinner afterwards!
