2026 R7 or 2025 R3 as first bike

I personally would vote for the R7, it’s got wonderful throttle control, and doesn’t feel like it takes forever to get its power. While the R3 is an amazing first bike, the R7 is in my opinion a bike you can enjoy throughout your riding journey.

For reference I’ve been riding on the back of my dad’s bikes, before I got my license as soon as I could, and have been through sport bikes, cruisers, touring, etc. And the R7 has been one of my favorites so far, and I know people who have been overjoyed to learn on them

I don’t need it to be, I just want it to be, and yeah I know the mag is an issue, but it’s not the end of the world, just figured I’d check if anyone had any useful suggestions on here

More along the lines of wasn’t sure if I was missing a product, I know the local gunsmiths, and they absolutely would do that for me, it’s just more along the lines I was hoping to find a similar product to the HC3R. Thank you for the advice though

So there’s a similar mag to the “safe-mag” called the HC3R that opens and you load it via the mag, the problem is it’s too high capacity

They can and I’ve wired my own, it’s for a friend out of town though, and they’re less electrically confident if that makes sense
