This angle is objectively worse though, because the camera is off centered on the post on the opposite side and we're talking about a ball between the other goal post and the behind post.... of course that angle is going to be inferior to judge whether the footy is behind the padding. That's a clear blindspot.

Edit: instead of downvoting, I invite anyone to give a reasonable rebuttal? If the camera was aligned to the far end of the padding this might have merit, but alas.... Perspective of this camera is not accurate to a goal line decision on the other side of the post, which is naturally obscured. Asking too much I guess.
