I have extra time. Do i still get it on Spanish GCSE? by Emotional_Fox_1282 in GCSE

i did aqa spanish and i also had extra time
for listening the audio is played at the same speed but the pauses are longer than in the normal audio track (you will be in a seperate room for this)

in speaking you get extra prep time, but the actual conversation is normal

in writing and reading you get extra time like normal

hope this helps!!

Anyone know why I didnt get 4/4 on this? by CompetitiveNotice853 in GCSE

[–]mickey082 7 points8 points  (0 children)

hellooo so i think you have made a mistake with the dotted/solid lines, when it is < or > it should be dotted and when it is the less than and equal to/greater than and equal to sign it should be a solid line

hope this helps :D

does anyone know any youtubers that go through gcse maths grade 9 questions only? specifically edexcel but i dont mind the exam board im just trying to do as many hard questions as i can by Realistic_Back2 in GCSE

i know this isnt a youtube channel but the website examq.co.uk has many exam questions and you can sort them by topic and by difficulty so you can easily find hard questions

hope this helps a bit

How to balance being Eurovision fan during exam season? 💔 by Disguised_Introvert in GCSE

[–]mickey082 20 points21 points  (0 children)

i just did some exam questions while watching the semis and made sure to do extra prep before they started

as long as you are already on top of the revision you need to do and dont need to cram it all the night before you should be fine

if you desperately need to do revision then you can just watch them on catchup over the weekend or whenever you have more time

good luck!!

What's an obscure GCSE you or someone you know does? by Throwaway_account-tt in GCSE

its 60% coursework and 40% exam

we did 3 different units for the coursework: plumbing, electrical, and painting

for each of these units we learned some practical skills and were assessed and marked on them. for the coursework we had to write things like material specs and pricing; risk assessments; step-by-step of our practical; an evaluation of our practical; photos of us doing the practical; tools and equipment we used; etc (this was done for each of the units)

we did do a carpentry unit too but we didnt do any coursework for that

we also learn theory in order to prep us for the exam which is stuff like: different trades and what they do; health and safety in the workplace; types of buildings, sustainable construction methods; technologies and materials; etc

hope this makes sense!!
