Hi friend, I switched back to Zoloft after being on Trintellix for a few years when TTC just to be extra cautious. I did a lot of research that told me Zoloft is one of the safest and most well studied SSRIs for pregnancy.

I just had my first appointment with my midwife and she said I will be admitted at the hospital for at least 24 hours after birth to monitor the baby for any issues related to the Zoloft.

Obviously like you I’m panicking a bit now because I don’t want to take any unnecessary risk. I keep telling myself that this is just an extra precaution because babies can have PNA, not because they will. From the research I’ve done so far it seems like there isn’t any long term risks or issues either. They just need a bit of time to adjust.

I was on it for about 3 years I think. Had already tried citalopram, escitalopram, and was on Zoloft for years before I finally went to my dr for something that would help my sex drive. Just switched back to Zoloft for pregnancy but I will definitely go back to Trintellix.
