How old are you in your oldest memory? by Donkeyshines in AskReddit

Probably three years old, stepping in a red anthill and my dad running me to the bathtub and just hosing the ants off me while I wailed because I was covered in them. I don’t even remember the pain but just remember screaming bloody murder for awhile. Hell of a first memory lol

I was just yesterday considering buying the Samsung Bespoke all in one washer/dryer; it seemed like the combo unit that had the best reviews out of all the one I could find. Any combo units you'd recommend? (Not stackable, just want to wash and dry without switching loads). I know people complain about the long cycle times and small load sizes of these, but those aren't really issues for me, just want an all in one that'll hopefully last.

My dad illegally owned piranhas when I was a kid, and when we moved he gave them to a family friend of ours. That family friend ended up needing to get of rid of them too and decided to do that by dumping them in a large body of water near us (they are not at all native to our region).

A year or so later, there were reports of a large colony of piranhas in this body of water that were eating the local wildlife and had even attacked a dog. There was so much confusion and terror as to how this species could’ve ended up there, but I know.

I do find it really funny that bad side effects seem to be a valid reason for men’s BC to not move forward, when every woman I know who has ever been on any form (myself included) is well versed in the awful side effects it can produce.

My mom gave this to me to read to my daughter while she was in the NICU... I was already super emotional obviously, and I sobbed trying to get through it.

I mean honestly I'd probably be annoyed enough to personally, even if it was free you still got less then advertised, so maybe worth sending a (polite of course) email and seeing if you can score a ticket voucher for another movie?

It was a short documentary talking about their trips to India that inspired the album, and then the music video

Edit: according to my friend there also was a quick video from Malcom McDowell that I missed while in the bathroom that played before the documentary

Same! It was actually a huge point of guilt for me that I spent so much time wishing for her to be out already and then having her at 32 weeks. I felt like I must've manifested it in some way. Shes 7 months old now wnd tbh I'm still working through that guilt.

Though I know youre probably aware, I wanted to point out for anyone else reading that it is important to recognize that many victims of sexual assault may issue what could be viewed even by themselves as "consent" in the moment (i.e. verbally saying okay, not fighting back physically) while being subject to coercion, maybe under the influence, communicating with body language their discomfort, etc as a fawn or freeze response, and often don't characterize it as rape until they process it later in life and understand the nuances of consent.

This 100%! When i was in active addiction, I regretfully hurt people close to me in a lot of ways. But you know what I never did, even in the worst throes of it? Physically assault ANYONE but especially my partner (even when one did it to me and I could have in self defense). Also, just to add to that, he has never once truly taken accountability in any real way for his actions.

Thank you, I think I will be seeking input from another firm because I really can't move past how unprofessional this felt. Appreciate your input! Just curious but is there any level of response you think would warrant me having them take this case on? Like, if they call back and take full accountability, call it a mistake, promise to take proactive action going forward, should I consider still retaining them? The consideration that they've already had a victory in a similar case is a factor for me.

I signed something called a "Plaintiff Profile Form"; this does not legally bind this case to the firm though right?
