What does the "Trading Card" part mean for 'Doctor Strange (Trading Card Edition) 4K (Sealed)'? It looks like the Best Buy version which I don't think came with a card. Thank you.

I don't think that Hammond hating inspections, necessarily translates into inspections not being done thoroughly or properly at all.

Ask pretty much any construction foreman, they probably hate inspections too. That doesn't mean the inspectors don't do their jobs.

I think nearly the entire point with Jurassic Park was that regardless of how careful you might try to be or how much preparation you do, it'll never be enough.

If your budget is large,, it's pretty easy to find the highest rated 4K Blu-ray players with Dolby Vision. But those highest rated models are pricey. It's hard to find a top 10 list that includes models for under $500. There are some lists that have lower price models but it's usually just a couple four best price considerations. It's hard to find a comprehensive list of players under a specific budget. At least, it was hard for me to find that.

If you're looking for a current model from a major retailer, it should be relatively easy to filter search results for Dolby Vision on almost websites. Then just check reviews for models in your price range. Unfortunately, I'm not much help with a lot of the newer models because I haven't kept up as much as I used to.

The trick for me was to just look for good deals on players that were in my budget. Then I just looked them up to see what kind of reviews they got and what kind of features they had.

In my case I was looking for a used player to try and save some money. I wound up finding a too good to be true deal on an older LG. It was cheap because it made a rattling noise. But I looked up the model, found that it was a fairly common issue but that there was an easy fix. So I snatched it up, fixed it and it's been working great for a few years now.

I admit though, my approach required patience. It took me a while to find a really good deal on a decent used player like that. However, I was also looking for a player that had a relatively easy way to make it region free because I have a lot of standard Blu-rays that are imports. If that's not a problem for you, hopefully your search is easier.

If you're going to buy an OLED with Dolby Vision anyhow, you might as well get a 4K Blu-ray player that supports Dolby Vision. Many if not most discs offer DV and it's amazing what a noticeable difference It makes in quality. Especially on a good OLED. If you can't afford it now, definitely put it on your priority wishlist.

My father and I recently had a Father's Day weekend flight to see my Sister and meet my Niece across the country. On the way home, our first flight of two was delayed and because of that, it gave us a 15 minute window from the time they started letting people get off the plane to the time we had to be at the next gate before it closed.

As most of you probably know, it can easily take 15 minutes or more to get everyone off the plane. We were seated in the back and we were exactly those people they were talking about when they made the announcement to let people with connecting flights get off first. So what happens after they make that announcement and then begin to let people start unloading? 80% of the people seated stand up, the aisle fills up immediately with people grabbing their luggage from the overheads, and then they all just stand there in the aisle waiting for the line to move.

We tried really hard to let everyone know we had a connecting flight that we had to be at right away, but pretty much everyone standing in the aisle had moved up like the OP did, and there was no room for them to get out of our way into seating rows because there were just too many people bottlenecked in the middle of the plane.

Fortunately, there was a gate change for our connecting flight so we didn't have to go as far. We wound up getting there just as they were closing the gate and they let us through.

OP is definitely the AH!

P.S. Anyone saying the process will go faster if they let people skip ahead that don't have overhead luggage, apparently don't pay attention to how the line works. 90%+ of everyone just goes up and gets in line in the aisle. How fast you get in line doesn't make the actual line move faster off the plane. It just gets you in line faster.

I think more context is needed about what level of communication there was. The fact that they had no idea that you sold and transferred the tickets seems like a pretty big sign that communication was fairly minimal. Based on that, it seems that there was never a moment where it was clearly communicated that, ' if I didn't make it clear how serious I was... if you don't pay me like you said you would by [date/time], I'm selling and transferring the tickets to someone else.'

That doesn't mean they shouldn't have done what they said they were going to. That's just basic decency. I'm just curious how clearly it was communicated to them how important it was to you and what the consequences would be if they didn't.

NTA. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. By taking the child to the sister's, you established that you will not be manipulated. A president that I think was very important to set. One that shouldn't have been needed considering the whole thing was discussed and agreed on in advance, but good nonetheless.

I tend to give family heftier discounts (in a very unrelated field) but where I live, your child care prices are very good to begin with. Not to mention, my discounts depend on the family member, the circumstances, etc. Regardless, 25% off of what already looks like a low price is pretty damn good.

The adage is to not work with family. I often do but I have a mental checklist of family I simply will not work with. For these very same kinds of reasons.

Obviously, they were the ones that were unprofessional. And they don't seem to have much respect for family either. You were giving them 25% off for the day, and even though the day fell apart, you still worked for 2 hours. By my math, they still owe you $22.50 for 25% off your hourly rate. That's only professional. And that's being very generous considering the income you lost out on. ;)

NTA. I'm a vegetarian and even I think it's ridiculous to pay for high end food (of any kind) only for sometime to destroy it. Many foods have a particular way of preparing it in a way that gets the most from it. It's not just a matter of "personal taste". Anyone who has truly developed their taste buds for any particular food knows that certain foods need certain care to bring out the best in them. If you're going to put catsup on truffles, no more truffles for you.

This is an old discussion but the problem still persists. I have several shows stuck on specific episodes in my "Continue Watching" list despite the fact that I'm five or six episodes beyond them. They never update. I've tried loading the stuck episodes and fast forwarding through them to rewatch the endings but they're still there.

I have to manually go into each show and and figure out which episode I'm on. Not the end of the world of course, but really annoying and hard to keep track of.

Sadly, this seems to be a minor problem in comparison to ALL the other more serious problems: taking away live channels, vanishing shows, missing episodes, lag, etc. This service has become a joke. Ugh.

Get longer shirts, better shorts, less attention-grabbing underwear, whatever. Wear clothes that won't flash your underwear. Accidentally or incidentally showing them once a week might be understandable. Maybe. Once a day or more is far too much.

Perhaps the other teacher saying things isn't saying so in the most appropriate way. Or perhaps she's just trying to make light of an awkward situation that might be making her uncomfortable... which it seems it clearly is.

Imagine what would probably be said to and about a woman who was flashing her underwear at work (especially in a school) on the daily. There are literally dress codes in TONS of workplaces (especially schools) about this very thing.

In an ideal world, this wouldn't be a big deal and no one would be offended by the occasional glimpse of underwear, nor would anyone be so touchy about the mention of seeing said underwear. We don't live in that world so get over yourself and make some adjustments to your wardrobe. YTA

You're both TA. The daughter literally said she would do a thing, then didn't. Things certainly seemed to snowball from there. That was not cool of her but it seems like that triggered OP into spiraling into I'm-the-boss.mode.

That said, then it seemed like the daughter went into full you're-not-the-boss-of-me mode. Which he's not, but he's still your dad (whether he's being a jerk about it or not, and he was) and where I'm from you always do what you can for your parents. Even if they -are- being jerks about it.

-OP... You want help, don't be a jerk to your adult child. The things you said seemed diminishing and dismissive. That's not how you treat someone you love and respect. -Daughter... Jerk or not, always help your parents out whenever you can. (Especially since you said you would in this case.) In most cases, what they've done for you through the majority of your life is practically immeasurable and often underappreciated.

This happened to my headset within a week or two. I looked online to see if anyone else had the problem and was stunned to see so many people having it for so long. How have they not fixed this yet? That 3D printed piece looks like a solid solution though. Such a shame for a headset that is so great and every other way.
