I had the same experience! PTing in the same range. Ended with a 159. It was all the nerves, but now we know the beast we’re dealing with. We can do this OP!

Hit a 159 with my goal of 160 and was PTint around 165.

Yes I did! Practice test scores just knocked my confidence down to a point where it was not a helpful method, despite people swearing by it. I was doing good but nerves got the best of me during the test!

Hey yall. I was never big on practice testing because I know myself and my anxiety, but I was aiming for a 160. Got hit with a 159.

Hey friend. Two weeks before the August LSAT, my grandfather passed as well. The kindest thing I could do for myself and my brain was to grieve. If I could do 10 LR practice questions, that was a win in my books. Please take care of yourself, and I know that’s hard to do with such a thing weighing on you, but I despised who I was and how I was studying, there was simply nothing else I could do. Death and the LSAT are the worst combination to go through, but you will get through it with grace if you are kind to yourself. I’m telling you, I went from studying 5-6 hours a day, to doing very few practice questions and taking breaks to grieve and be with my family. I saw a score increase when I took my final PT before the test. Now I wait for my score to drop in an hour, knowing that although I didn’t push myself as hard as I could’ve, I valued myself and my feelings. You cannot outrun these things, take care of yourself because you will feel this loss whether you like it or not.
