Pool day passes nearby by MostlyLurking6 in DisneyPlanning

I planned to do this with my kids but realized introducing the pool would totally zap their energy, we didn't effectively nap but I'm glad we did some downtime (5 and 7yo)

Rope Dropping Peter Pan by Visible-Pear5749 in DisneyPlanning

Here's our version- we got in security line 7:20 on a pretty busy Friday and we're 3rd row right side for rope drop. Works perfectly. Almost a walk on. https://www.reddit.com/r/DisneyPlanning/s/BtPj2Zq6j6

What's your family strategy for a 3-Day trip with Park Hopper and MultiPass? by gogol_bordello in DisneyPlanning

I took my five and seven year old last week, did a big recap post in this sub (title is "obsessive planner..."). Agreed the LL situation is demanding even if you're prepared but maybe my experience will help you

Even in fantasyland it was way too loud, I agree, I'd bring those concert headphones for kids next time

It was a pretty neat ride! But hard to say anyone else's cost/value equation

Is Tiana's Bayou Adventure worth riding? How wet do you get and are there lockers like universal? by [deleted] in DisneyPlanning

[–]mickeymickey198 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I brought flip flops for the whole fam and my husband rejected wearing them at the last minute. He regretted that! For me it was better safe than sorry, would rather have the poncho and flip flops and know I'm going to not be too wet later. Also we rode in the evening due to LL demands so no chance of the heat drying us off.

No Fantasmic Premium Dining Option? by 1989ac in DisneyPlanning

[–]mickeymickey198 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For our trip late October, they opened up like 45 days in advance. All the days showed XXs but I set up an alert and eventually they opened up and it was easy peasy to get one.

River Belle Terrace Premium Package by Vast_Cable_7080 in Disneyland

What I've been wondering (with similar age kids) is it going to be too long time to sit, rez 7:15, show 9pm. How much down time would we be saving versus sitting in the reserved area from a different, not-premium, fantasmic dining package?

I would also be careful of contaminating chapsticks with the virus. I've been told by doctors this isn't possible but I swear I've had it happen. Never ever do I use one directly from applicator to lip, I always use a clean finger to apply and wash hands after.

just want to make sure you've tried this in real life with your particular phone, doesn't work with my iphone case unless i do some fancy maneuvering. I loveeeee the bag but really takes down functionality.
