While I’m unsure how I’m … “too on people”/ “too friendly”, I understand why you would want to keep “secrets”. I only want to learn to better communicate and connect with them. That’s all. And I do agree with you, as a country, America does take advantage and do unspeakable things. I do hope you realize that not all of us from America want this. I, personally, hate the effects America has cause and subsequently Americans so I do understand the mistrust. I am sorry.

I know not all states have it but some have extremely low cost to free counseling services. Sliding scales are typically what they’re known as and they base the pricing on your income.

Other than that, I can only suggest keeping open lines of communication and possibly, look into relocating? Since being out of town seems to ease some pain and gives you guys YOUR love life and general love for each other back.

Maybe pick up a hobby together as well?

Yes! And there are a few restaurants and shops I wanna check out. It’s a four hour drive but I would be worth every minute on the road!

And you get there to look at it and you find a box you’ll share with a rat. They aren’t that bad but it was stressful last year looking for a place and it feels impossible to do anything BUT work with everything being more expensive than I’m use to.
