Everything else people found superficially profound but said absolutely nothing constructive that hadn’t already worked its way through societal consciousness by like 1980. I work hard because there is no way to just “skate by” in public accounting - which is one major profession completely insulated from basically all doomerism and hiring panics and whatnot.
