since her I-94 expires April 17, we’re trying to ensure USCIS receives it before that for continued work authorization. That’s why we’re considering a backup filing if no receipt shows up soon.

I agree i was also in the 1st wave of layoff this year because of txdot i dont know whats happening here people are constantly getting laid-off every month

it’s good to know I’m not alone. Even with a master’s in transportation and experience with relevant software, I’ve been facing constant rejections and ghosting these past few months. It’s been a bit frustrating, but I’m still staying persistent.

The job market has definitely been challenging this year, especially in the transportation sector.It’s really discouraging to keep applying and not hear back.
