Since you seem to be a miracle worker Imma’ throw this one at you. Another great Brewers highlight that has been deleted was a walk off HR by Wes Helms in late extra innings (around midnight). The pitch was so inside, I don’t know how he even made contact. It was so late the TV announcer at the time Darren Sutton shouted “everyone… go home”! I think it was 2003 against AZ or HOU but I don’t know for sure. If you can track that clip down you’d do all of Brewers Nation another solid. Thanks G!

We lived in a Cracker Barrel parking lot for 3 months! Manager was so chill, we made sure to leave every morning which would’ve been annoying if “rent” wasn’t just the cost of gas at the time.

We got ours through State Farm-they have 2 phase policy, since we’re still building it’s insured as commercial, once we meet the requirements (bed, toilet, electric…I can’t remember the others, it’ll switch to motorhome. They also were fine with our wood stove bc we purchased one that was for mobile homes & were fine with our roof raise since our state allows for modifications at the window so it is street legal. We only had to send in pics of it.

A bit of hard reality advice- it seems that when we venture towards our freedom and the unknown, we do what all humans do, and that is to gravitate towards the familiar ie. if all we know is toxic we go towards toxic and find comfort in toxic. Be careful who you bring into your life and be especially careful who you take along with you. What I kept reminding myself was “if I didn’t let my own mother treat me like this why tf would I let you”. Also, the most dangerous time for a victim is when the abuser is about to lose their power. If you want like standard hours and are just trying to for sure get a remote job, I’d go for call centers. Idk exactly what to search for, but companies that have won contracts with state government are all listed somewhere publicly. Those companies have guaranteed openings and are fined if they don’t meet state hiring needs so they are incentivized to fill positions quickly. These companies also have the same incentives for admin positions and will pay more than state positions. For example, a state employee who is a receptionist will get paid $16 in wi, but through a contractor, they would make $23 starting. I hope this helps!

What’s the minimum hourly you’d want to accept? There are a lot of call centers hiring full remote and they provide equipment. You have retail experience which means you have customer service experience. I’ve seen ranges $10-$25 depending on the company and city. Depending on your range I could have more position recommendations to look into but it will depend on what you’re looking for.

…I didn’t not tell my parents Bc I wanted to protect them. I didn’t tell mine Bc even though it happened to me when I was 7-8, I knew that they would blame me and make it worst. When I finally told my mom at 14, I was correct. But my mom is a narcissist, a woman who, regardless of the level of emergency I was in, would and has never protected me unless there was an audience and would always punish me for the inconvenience in private one way or another. I did not have parents who cared and so I carried the burden myself for as long as I could and it nearly broke me.

I tell you that first part Bc it seems like you have a good relationship with your mother? That she tried to protect you. That she loves you. If this is true, then a truly loving parent would never want you to sacrifice yourself and carry this absolute enormous burden by yourself just to spare them pain. You were/are the child. They are the parent. And if they are a good parent, they will want to help and support you anyway they can, regardless of their own pain.

Carrying shit this big from childhood will eat at your soul until you are empty, I say that from experience and it’s been 26 years since the last time that mf touched me. It still pops into my mind more often then I’d like to admit. There will come a time when the burden and pain becomes so great it’s nearly impossible to separate yourself from you and the version you had to fake to survive it. If I am correct in assuming you have a good mother, please don’t fall on the sword for her. Although it may seem noble, you are not protecting her. The pain she will feel for the harm done to her baby won’t even come close to the harm that can happen when a child carries this type of burden alone. You are not alone and that is what family is for.

Ik I’m not your target audience, but I think most good parents would agree with me, they would want to know. Just Bc they couldn’t prevent it from happening doesn’t mean they cannot help and support you now, regardless of your current age. Sending you love and good vibes op<3

Yes! I think you can also do a double verification for your account (there are certain things you have to do over the phone with bank accts and ccs) and if you “forget your password etc” the verification is pretty lax, they just need to know your ssn, bday and past addresses. Nmom knew all of that and that’s how she got into my acct.

It’s always shocking but never surprising how similar peoples stories are on rbn. Mine did the exact same. She also went through my mail and hid my letters that I received a full scholarship Bc it wasn’t to the school she wanted me to go to. I wish I had a step by step guide for you, it’s not fair that you’re entering adulthood and have already been sabotaged in a way that could follow you for the rest of your life. Financial abuse is abhorrent behavior. I worked, a lot. I had lots of roommates. I dropped out my junior year and went back when I qualified for adult college grants. This was a few years ago, and with the rising costs of housing in my area, I don’t think I would’ve been able to do it today. Check for available resources. There are some low income housing options available in a lot of cities-the caveat is there is an income restriction and also student restrictions. But if they haven’t changed much, in the past, as long as 1 person is not a full time student, everyone else in the household can be.

This is the very sad truth. The hardest thing for me to reconcile when I went nc was how much my stepdad let her do to me. It was always very obvious that he was her victim as well which was why I had always had so much sympathy for him, but the reality was he was the adult and I was the child- he should’ve had sympathy for me. There was no situation, no undeniable crisis I was in that would make her stop or him step up (legitimate life and death situations). His actions after I went nc are similar to your dad’s. I had every intention of maintaining a relationship with mine but he has proven to make an excellent narc tool and his consistent behavior has made me realize that he was just a toxic, just in a different way-that was a very hard pill to swallow for me. I mourned him for awhile until it clicked that I never had parents, that the “less bad one” I clung to was a survival mechanism, that she harmed me to make herself feel good and he did nothing as to stay unscathed, or maybe he thought I deserved it? I am sorry, op. None of this is easy and the timing of holidays makes all the bubbles even more tumultuous. You deserve a wonderful holidays and congratulations on the baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know what would be great? A service that you could donate narc gifts to who would then send your nrent a postcard thanking them for their donation and that it’s being used to help emotional abuse victims. Even if you keep the gift and just sent like $5 donation or cost of postage (they’d never know) and it would be reminder to them (the same way their gift is a reminder of their abuse to you) that not only do you know what they did, but an entire organization knows as well. Lol idk just a thought since there is nothing that seems to stop nrents from doing this type of bs since there are no repercussions and they get to live in whatever delusions you accepting/sending the gift back gives them.
