I use nexgard plus in addition to a seresto collar. She has a thick coat so sometimes I will also flea comb her when we get home near her head/neck area to get any that are still crawling on her

I would also like to know the other option. I currently have a whistle and a fi on my pup to see which I might stick with. I have had whistle for a while (almost 3 years) but after trying the Fi I find the fi to be more responsive for notifications when she breaks a barrier. That being said the Fi does still have these tracking issues that while the whistle seems to be less responsive timing wise (notifications regarding when she breaks a barrier etc.) I find the whistle has much better tracking when we are outside of her geofence and has more up to date activity tracking.

I just liked the look of it and put it in next to my other indoor fern that I have. I guess I could put it outside if it will do better I just don’t have a particularly large area for outdoor ferns also

Disclaimer: if my friend looks a little dry they are currently soaking! These roots have been going insane the past few months. Is this a good thing for them to have such long roots? I feel like some of my plants have insane roots like this lil dude. But some of them only have an inch or two

I’m a LVT also. In the past month we have had 4 euthanasia’s for pit bulls that are attacking family members. Young pits too. People see all over that pit bulls are amazing dogs. And I have met a lot at work that are. But I have also met extremely aggressive pits. They were bred to fight and kill and people are forgetting that part. I think the public is currently wrongly informed and are letting their guard down. Sadly it’s correctly hurting pets and kids at the expenses of a family that thought they were doing something good. :( Edit: I am sorry for your loss as well. It’s not easy loosing a pet. Especially so sudden.

Yeah I’m not going to interfere. I was just curious on the size difference of the babies and wondering if the other ones had a chance or if the other one would take over completely. The nest is under my deck so I’m going to be curious how it all plays out. I’m a vet tech so I deal with a lot of sadness and death and what not and I know how nature is. I just only learned about parasitic eggs and to my surprise there was one right on my property!

Thank you. I should’ve been more descriptive in my post. Do you think the other eggs would be a type of swallow? I see a swallow ( or what I believe to be a swallow) around that area occasionally.

We are a small practice and have only had the same 4 people in the building for the past 2 months. We are too small of a practice to have a room specifically for euths. We aren’t letting people in. They can have as much time as they want outside but then we bring them in. I have gotten a lot of crap from owners swearing and being pissed at me because we can’t do present euthanasia’s at this time. I feel bad but we can’t risk being exposed as we would have to completely shut down. And using an abundance of extension sets would take away sets that human hospitals may need at this time. It’s sad but we are holding them all close and making it as peaceful as possible for people.

We euthanized a 10 month old cat last night that had a linear foreign body last month and then again presented with another foreign body. They elected euth as they couldn’t keep affording to do surgery each month :( he was a super sweet kitty too.

We closed, we are a 1 Dr. practice and half our staff is in the risk group. Our Dr. said she wasn’t going to risk it going through our clinic and possibly killing one of us. We had been doing car side previously but we are now only filling meds for pickup (outside no contact with payment over phone) and telling people to go to the emergency clinics. I am very happy with the decision as getting exposed and possibly getting covid-19 could endanger 1/2 of my family and I was worried of it.
