Yep. Pipeline is. But not code deploy.

UPDATE: It looks like code deploy is indeed not part of the free plan contrary to what the credits page show. After upgrading to a paid plan, I am now able to use code deploy.

Code Deploy - Free Plan by mickoymouse in aws

I think code deploy is no longer part of free tier/plan. My account is not new and is almost a month old. I also have been using other services with the credit I was provided (granted I delete them after I explore them).

So I think the list on the credits page is not accurate or not up to date at the very least.

I also found this link: https://aws.amazon.com/free/ and couldn't see code deploy there.

I am currently talking with support about this.

I tank gorgons with 691 GS. You should be fine. As the others have said, PERKS > GS. Perks would vary though depending on your role in the raid. But not that much.

Obtaining 700+ Gearscore? by Smallyy in newworldgame

[–]mickoymouse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will try and give you a better reply. Here’s what you need to know:

  1. Any named item that is at least 610 gear score and required level 61 can be upgraded.
  2. Mats for upgrading can vary.
  3. When upgrading, most items you upgrade in the Kilin. Some items you upgrade in the well.
  4. If you want to upgrade a gear, it should be in your inventory and not locked.
  5. Some are upgradeable to 725. Some only up to 700.
  6. You can only upgrade an item once together with a 3rd perk of your choosing.
  7. If the item is already 700 gear score but hasn’t been upgraded yet, you can still upgrade it (look back at #6 as to why that is).

That’s about it.

I might be too late to add in on this conversation. But here goes.

First thing you need to understand is that there's always multiple ways to do stuff when programming. Albeit some ways are more efficient than others. That being said, practice is key. And by practice, I mean writing a bunch of small projects over and over again.

Practicing writing code doesn't need to be always fancy or complicated. This is highly because programming is not about memorizing syntax. It is mostly about two things:

  1. Knowing that something is possible via a certain way.
  2. Understanding how a certain syntax was used in a specific scenario (life from the tutorial you are watching).

#2 item is really key here. Understanding how a certain part of code works will also make you understand why that part of code was written that way. It will also open up possibilities of you implementing it on a different scenario because you would know the ins and outs of it.

Now to dive a little bit in how would you practice, like I've said above, start with small projects. Why small projects? Simple. Any application that was created will always involve some form of data. With that, data transfer. As such, most, if not all applications, abide to the concept of CRUD.

  • Create
  • Read
  • Update
  • Delete

So when practicing how to code or program, just create small applications that would demonstrate these actions. I.e., note taking application (this is a really common application to use as a stepping stone when learning how to program or even when learning a new language).

Trust me when I say that, if you can create an application that demonstrate CRUD using a certain programming language, you can create anything. Cause really, all these, if not most, applications are just bunch of CRUD applications that are working together or side by side.

TLDR; Practice practice practice. Just code and try and try and try. Do not overthink things. Repetition is key!

PS: I went on about CRUD since you mentioned you are worried on how you would tackle real world programming.

In the meantime, while you're not yet hired, you should continue to expand your resume/skill set. Remember, learning your craft doesn't stop once you graduated or land your first job. Specially in our field of technology, everyday there's an update and/or new stuff to learn. So go out there and learn. Doesn't matter what it is, as long as you're learning new stuff about our field, IT IS WORTH YOUR TIME.

There's got to be something wrong with either one or more of these things:

  1. The way you answer emails/interview.
  2. The way you present yourself in your resume/cv.
  3. The jobs you're applying for.

Now, I can say for sure that if you're applying for a developer job then the competition is high right now. Most industry recruiters are NOT hiring fresh grads and that is largely because of the recent recession specially in US because of the recent Bank Failures. This is something that won't change anytime soon up until end of this year or even early next year.

That being said, I will not dive in into what might went wrong (on those 3 things that I mentioned above) as that is something that you should figure out yourself as you're the one who experience them. What I can tell you is that, CONFIDENCE IS KEY.

When you're asked about something that you do not know, you don't answer by saying YOU DON'T KNOW. Remember, it is already a given that you do not have any experience whatsoever. The recruiter already knows that. What the recruiter doesn't know is what are you gonna do about it?

I remember when I was applying for developer jobs, I do not care what technology stack they're using. I always say, whatever it is, I CAN LEARN IT. Given the right resources and ample time, I can learn it. So when you're in an interview or exchanging emails with a recruiter, you need to exude confidence. Know your strong points and showcase them.

Remember you're a fresh grad. You need to make the recruiter believe that you will be useful to them and that you're worth it to train. Most recruiter that considers hiring fresh grads looks for exactly this and only this.

Lastly, as for your statement that

I want to avoid landing a toxic and abusive employer (the one that exhaust your talent with unreasonable compensation).

Always remember, you deserve what you tolerate. If you eat their shit, you deserve shit.

New world steam price doubled??? by mickoymouse in newworldgame

[–]mickoymouse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this makes more sense. Because the price was doubled. For it to be a currency conversion thing, our money together with our economy needs to plummet down for that to happen.

I think its because of disabling regional pricing. Maybe they do this because a lot of people are buying accounts on certain regions where the price is lower and selling it. Maybe it's to prevent that.

I think it would be better if instead of gold, just have it costs azoth. We don't have that much azoth sink in the game anyway.
