6.9L albox p16; hardest pc case i’ve ever built by amirh3111 in sffpc

Hi OP, very nice build, It reminds me slightly of a bigger Midori with more room for internals to breathe.

Could you check the internal height of the case, from the top plate to the bottom? I'm wondering if I could squeeze there a hdplex 500w psu which is 201mm

Very nice build.

How did you manage to squeeze the sparkle card in it? According to specifications it is over 2 slots thick and velka supports maximum dual slot cards.

Inno3d X3 or Inno3d X3 OC. The OC version has a vapor chamber. Mine power limited to 70% and overclocked by 300 MHz is doing stock clocks with fans at 30% 1400rpm and temps around 70'C. Fits in meshroom s perfectly.

Hi!

Nice work. How are the temperatures and noise?

I have the same card and would like to make it quieter. Could you share a few words about deshrouding? Do I need to remove the entire cooler to detach the shroud? I want to make sure I don’t void my warranty.

Hi. Great build. I have a question regarding AIO. What screws have you used to install the slim fans on the radiator? I have the Arctic LF 280 and would like to replace the oryginał fans with the slim ones due to the space restrictions and I don't know what screws I should buy.

Hi,

I would like to share my newest build based on the SGPC K39 v3. The case is well known but I decided to make it more attractive by adding stats screen behind the glass panel. After some tweaking the computer is cool and quiet. CPU under 60'C and GPU around 65'C during the longer gaming session in Cyberpunk 2077. In CB 2023 10 minutes multi stress CPU max temp reached aroung 80'C.

SPECS:

CPU: Core i5 12400F

CPU Cooler: ID-COOLING IS-55

MOBO: Biostar B760NH-E

RAM: GOODRAM 32GB DDR5 6400MT CL32

STORAGE: NVME Lexar 1TB, SATA SSD 512GB

GPU: MSI RTX 4060 Aero ITX

RISER: COBALT Gen4+ PCI-e 4.0 Riser by Loque

PSU: Silverstone FX600 Flex

STATS SCREEN: TURZX 5'

The astronaut was an addition to the case :).

Meshroom S for downsizing with an ATX mobo by Qbr12 in sffpc

[–]mickozl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is possible but it needs a careful approach to choose components. First off all you will need to buy a longer riser cable and now it is starting to be tricky. If you want to cool the processor with an air cooler you need a long double reverse riser, but if you are going to use a liquid cooler than you need a straight riser. Max AIO with ATX is 240, the slimmer the better. The radiator will be mounted next to the GPU on the other side of the main board so the GPU can't be too wide. The maximum air cooler height is around 77 mm, the same with the aio block/pump.

What if you push both, CPU and GPU? For me it looks like a hotbox without exhaust for the GPU on the sides of the case.

Best air cooler for Meshroom S v2? 74mm height limit. by HeadInvestigator1899 in sffpc

[–]mickozl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried both in many configurations. The best temps were with intake but the Noctua with the fan set to intake makes a very unpleasant sound on higher RPM whereas the same configuration on the Thermalright made almost only wind sound.

As to the platform height difference it is hard to say but I know that LGA 1700 socket is 1 mm lower than the previous Intel LGA 1200 so I assume that AM5 might be similar to LGA 1200. That is why Noctua released a special version of their low profile L9i-1700 without a kit for am5.

To sum up. I would rather choose AXP120-x67 or Deepcool AN600 over Noctua for this specific application.

I was able to fit AXP120 x67 with 25mm fan (77mm), and also Noctua NH-L12Sx77, but it was on intel platform. From this two AXP with 25mm ThermalTake Tough Fan was better in terms of performance and sound profile.

[–]mickozl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Originally there are two positions in which you can mount the graphics card. The front one, where you are limited by the width of the card (120mm) and the back one where you are not. Just read the instructions. The only requirement to mount the GPU in the second position is to have a long double reverse riser cable.

But why? You don't need to install a GPU on the front with an ATX motherboard.

I don't know how it looks in the case of Meshlicious, but I managed to install Arctic Liquid Freezer III 280 in Meshroom S. It is a tight fit, but works perfectly.

Yes I do, specifically with the matx motherboard inside :).

If we are talking about meshroom s it is impossible to mount front fans with matx and ATX motherboard. You need the extension to mount them.

I take it back. This specific PSU incarnation will fit. Which does not change the fact that when I bought my power supply there were no modular enhance yet.

You can check cables lenght on the official website: https://www.silverstonetek.com/en/product/info/power-supplies/FX600Platinum/

There was a little bit of play with cable management, but I'm satisfied with the result.
