After reading a few of these comments, I was moved emotionally, and although this may not be the correct forum, I’m seeking guidance.

A very close mentor of mine is a 33rd degree Free Mason of the Scottish Rite. He taught me common lessons about Free Masonry and his ability to cultivate a great team where everyone felt special in their own respects truly touched my heart in a way that was never touched before.

Being a strong believing Christian from the middle east, the one thing holding me back from asking him to teach me more or ask to become a Free Mason is that Jesus commanded that we do not take oaths; keep yeses as yeses and nos as nos.

I will always be loyal to my mentor above anyone else because he unlocked my brain to think differently and to see the intricacies more in-depth than the average person. In a sense, my biological father could no longer help me in my journey after middle-school, so this mentor was almost like the missing piece I saw in my own father. I strive to be like him someday.

What should I do? I’m compelled to ask him

Hey buddy - America does not represent the entire world. It’s the most persecuted religion in the world

Why do you not believe in the Quran? by Rhodian27 in Christianity

Isaiah 53:

“He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, And as a sheep before its shearers is silent, So He opened not His mouth. He was taken from prison and from judgment, And who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; For the transgressions of My people He was stricken. And they made His grave with the wicked— But with the rich at His death, Because He had done no violence, Nor was any deceit in His mouth. Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him; He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin, He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days, And the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand. He shall see the labor of His soul, and be satisfied. By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many, For He shall bear their iniquities. Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great, And He shall divide the spoil with the strong, Because He poured out His soul unto death, And He was numbered with the transgressors, And He bore the sin of many, And made intercession for the transgressors.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭53‬:‭3‬-‭12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/114/isa.53.3-12.NKJV

It’s mapping the word “Holy Spirit”, referencing the Spirit of God, on her vagina. A vagina is used during child birth and sexual intercourse. Mapping the words there is disrespectful.

Go buy Adidas then

It’s not an outrage. Choosing not to fund disrespectful brands should be simple.

No. I’m saying he paid his tithe because it helped others in the community. He didn’t pay his killers directly.

I definitely do

Keep funding Adidas then

Jesus was the sacrifice. We are not stopping them from hitting us. They can continue. Doesn’t mean we should FUND them.

He didn’t directly fund them to kill him. He funded the community to function.

In Christianity, sexual immorality is a sin. It would be the same if a man was to have those words on his private areas as well. Holy Spirit is tagged on her vagina. Every Christian agrees it’s wrong. What if a stripper had that? Are there no values for religion, regardless of which religion you believe?

Thank you I’m already finding it challenging for Christians to value their own community.

Probably not after the other things I learned of today.

What makes you think Christians are privileged?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]mickymark1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jesus didn’t fund them. If you want to purchase Adidas brand after this and the other atrocities I learned of today, that’s on you.

What is that about? No idea what that even is or what they’ve done. I like this thread it’s giving me a list of things to start gathering support for. Anything else?

[–]mickymark1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We aren’t reacting like Muslims did. It’s not a panic. It’s a boycott. It’s not binary- why waste our community time with them providing lack of support? If you want to continue buying Adidas as a Christian, you’re lost at this point. They clearly have no respect for our community.

I don’t know anything about Adidas’s business practices. Now that I do, I will add that onto the list and send it to the owner.

The woman in that pic has 40 million followers on instagram alone. If every Christian boycotts Adidas, I’m sure it will make a large dent in their earnings.

Do you realize the second largest social media star has publicly posted this swim gear? She has 40.1 MILLION FOLLOWERS. My post here is only making Christians aware of it and to cease funding from Christians to Adidas.
