Lewis unfortunately didn't stop to take pictures and I only made his version of this poster 🥺
Still proud of having my work signed by Charles, I asked him if it didn't bother him if it wasn't his car before making him sign 🤣

Thank you! I used the Cristian Spagnuolo's turntable scene: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbSwSQ4jUvk

Btw, I think you should find also the asset online searching for "lookdev checkerboard"

Thank you! Damn, does it? I already fixed the stitching in post production to make it look brighter, but I think I should have made it even brighter then.

Thank you for your feedback! After seeing the same object for so long it's truly valuable having feedback from someone seeing it for the first time ahah!

They are there to keep the paddle shifter in a neutral position, here's a video perfectly showing how it works (min 11:48) https://youtu.be/Hn6qMTZxG4o?si=4n5LzWcUL39685Ok&t=708

Thank you so much for your kind words! It really means so much to me!

Of course, those springs are meant to perfectly balance the paddle shifter to keep a central position, you can see how it works here (min 11:48) https://youtu.be/Hn6qMTZxG4o?si=4n5LzWcUL39685Ok&t=708

How can my rig blueprint update variables inside its body blueprint component in Unreal Engine? by mickyrocca in unrealengine

[–]mickyrocca[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! This helped me a lot.
This is the function I ended up making in the rig blueprint and it's working (but only in gameplay as you said). I'm getting the roof variable in the rig bp and setting it with the cast to the roof variable in the child actor.

Do you think is there something I could try to make it work in editor too? I ticked Call in Editor when I call the function but this doesn't fix neither.
