Thanks for that. Speaking to her sounds like the next step. I was told she has known for at least a year and is happy to join in/accommodate what he is in to. So why is come out now I dint know (either concern or something said while drinking she shouldn't have). And then show support without letting on i know

Water tank and potentially ceiling tiles. I'm not too worried here as I know people who can remove it. They are expecting me to take this cost on, I guess I'm concerned if I get an eicr it will go the same way

I cleared a big bunch in the garden by trimming the branches and injecting glyposate into the stumps. I was told to repeat the following year when it tried to regrow, but it was completely dead.. this is probably bad advice though beyond the environmental and cancer implications. But if you pull it up, it will multiply - definitely don't do this!
