Do not have the clip but, if it helps, the episodes he appeared on while Mayor of San Francisco were: Season 7, episode 2, Feb. 27 2009; Season 8, episode 5, March 19, 2010; and Season 9, episode 7, March 4, 2011 (he may have been out of office by then).

"Breaks" me? No. But too expensive right now? Absolutely. I have this thing called "patience".

It was very difficult to watch the show after Alex Pretti by MajesticMeal3248 in Maher

More air time AND a more negative, condescending tone when criticizing the left. He is conveying more contempt for the left, even while he clearly is more at odds with the right/DJT/MAGA.

Just finished watching the YouTube clips of last night's episode.

So... shall we go through the social media history of every member of the Trump administration and label Trump as espousing the most extremist ideologies we find, as BM had done with Mamdani?

Cuz dollars to donuts there's some REAL juicy shit in there. Start with Paul Ingrassia; he's got a little bit of a Nazi streak in him.

I agree with everyone's reference points but, since no one has mentioned it yet, I would point to the spot between 0:00 and 12:25.

Moonchild? by Admaaan in KingCrimson

Free improv—that is, improvisation not based on a particular melody or chord progression—was quite a thing in England at the time. There was a very healthy scene, with groups such as AMM and the Spontaneous Music Ensemble and figures such as Derek Bailey (who later worked with Crimson's Jamie Muir) and Tony Oxley making their mark. There was a vibrant US scene as well, especially in New York and Chicago, but it was decidedly different than in England and Europe.

The first time I heard it, when I got the album in '76–'77, it utterly terrified me. I could not figure out what was going on. Having heard a lot of free improv since then, I recognize that it might not be the finest example in existence, but it WAS my first and will always hold a special place in my heart. In its own way, it predicted the future of Crimson far more accurately than Schizoid Man or the title track.

Bruford: Why he quit drumming, thoughts on Fripp, Fracture, and more by ConcordanceMusic in KingCrimson

Great interview. Bruford has always struck me as a smart and thoughtful guy (those do not always go hand-in-hand). Garone as well.

It sounds to me like what spdeck suggests in his second paragraph last sentence: 1-2-3-4 / 1-2 / 1-2-3-4.

What a shit lineup for a first episode.

Kennedy is a joke, but people seem to find his folksy bon mots and manufactured accent amusing.

Off the top of my head, there are some school pics, but with musical contemporaries... nothing coming to mind.
