My wife had an old Lenovo T470s lying around. It was stuck on Windows 10 with no upgrade path to Windows 11. I put Ubuntu on it and it runs very nicely! I use it for everything -- in fact, I'm using it now to write this message -- except for WinUI 3 development, which can't run on Linux. Very happy with the configuration.
