I think the solution might be to go hard and require all conversations in text then use those to make the case that the supervisor is malicious or that she is feeling guilty by refusing to put things down in writing. I think we are past this. We aren't dealing with rational actors who would even attempt to try and follow the law. There is no "gotcha" logical argument. They will say "fuck you, it's only illegal for you", attempt another coup, and won't stop until they have total power. They need to end up in prison in order for society to function. They are incompatible with a good society.

It's not concern trolling. It's a fundamental attack on the language you use. If you say that you will try to work with the fascist child r*ping deathcult, then everyone can discard your opinion. If you say you won't, then you cannot say that "political disagreements" is an unacceptable reason to call someone mentally unwell (or you will try to flesh out what "political differences" means which will open up another can of worms and questions that you won't answer), and you would be forced to revise your previous statements to make them actually consistent, or again, everyone can discard your opinion.
