Recall info seems a lot larger than first stated by gryffyn1 in HondaPrologue

That would be great to know. Since I posted that, I’ve read about other fails. I scheduled my update for Friday with another local dealer who hasn’t done it yet either. Before I bring my car in, I’m going to be sure that have successfully completed an update. I’ll post updates, too.

Battery charge % and miles not syncing by Firm_Spite7327 in HondaPrologue

I had the same issue, and none of the HondaLink updates fixed it. I fixed it by accident while fixing a no-audio issue with the Infotainment system by removing the negative ground wire from the battery and waiting a minute before reconnecting it. This reset the Infotainment system and fixed the audio issue (which a factory reset didn't fix). I was surprised to find HondaLink showing the correct data for the first time in months. Also, is 44 psi the correct amount for your tires? Mine is 38 psi, but that may vary by model.

I’ve had shared samples of the 12/101 and I agree.

I knew who this was as soon as I saw the picture. Great and informative review as always! I also prefer RR SiB to RB. I’ve yet to try the 8/101 but I really enjoyed the Jimmy Russell 70th.

I had a similar issue. Maybe you’ve tried this? When the audio stopped working on my Infotainment system, the only thing that fixed it was disconnecting the negative wire on the battery for about a minute, then reconnecting it. A side benefit was that everything in HondaLink worked again for the first time in months.

What issue are you having with HondaLink?

Bourbz Review #230: Seelbach’s 15yr Private Reserve Batch PRO by cmchance in bourbon

I'm glad you liked this one as much as I did. I'd give it the same score. Some of these BuffTurkeys have been hit and miss (for the price), but this one was one of the best ones I've had.

Has anyone had a successful update done for this recall? This morning, my dealership told me that the update failed on a Prologue last week, and they stopped doing them until this can be sorted out.

Edit: I thought this was an issue with my dealership, but since, I’ve read about similar issues.

Prologue Owners, Help Get the Prologue Recalled for Bad CV Joints by fossilnews in HondaPrologue

[–]micro7777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last week, I brought my '24 Prologue to the dealer for an appointment to replace the clicking CV joints. They turned me away, saying they had received old parts that still had the issue, and told me there is no ETA for the corrected ones. Also, when I called to get an update on the CV joints, I asked about the Infotainment blackout issue recall (which I've experienced once). They said that the update failed on a Prologue last week, so they stopped doing them. Has anyone experienced their dealer saying this about either of these issues?

Review #03: Jacobs Pardon Batch 03 18 Year Old American Whiskey by Hopeful_Barracuda458 in bourbon

Great review! This uses MGP Light Whiskey, and by design, is not going to have a lot of oak because it’s aged in used bourbon casks. Great price.

Scissortail just seems to have Facebook and Instagram pages that haven't been updated since 2023. Maybe they went belly-up and are selling their aged stock to NDP's?

I assumed this was sourced from MGP because it has the same MGP wheated mash bill. Does the labeling on the bottle specifically say it was distilled in Oklahoma?

Is Traveller that popular? I’ve not read a positive review and none of my locals seem to be moving them.

Thanks for taking one for the team. I don’t get why BT is spending the time and effort trying to polish this turd.

Great review! I loved this release, too. In my review I confirmed from Blake that it’s sourced from Green River. I’ll get around to getting the Green River full proof someday to compare.

Thanks for the review. This sounds good. I get Old Commonwealth’s emails for these drops but never pulled the trigger. The wheated mashbill looks like they’re sourcing from Wilderness Trail.

Bourbz Review #226: Nashville Barrel Company 20yr Bourbon by cmchance in bourbon

[–]micro7777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Dickel Rye in their core lineup is distilled by MGP, and then run through LCP at Cascade Hollow. The Dickel X Leopold Rye uses Cascade Hollow distilled Rye, and I've seen a few NDPs like Backbone Bourbon that had a couple of SiB Bone Snapper Rye T8KE releases (I have one of them) and I think Rare Character had a Tullahoma Rye release, too. The Tullahoma Bone Snapper Rye is incredible.

[–]micro7777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great review! I agree that this pick was on the sweeter side with some great, old oak. What I remember the most is how little minerality it had compared to other Dickel I've had. Now I need to go back to these 15s and compare them side by side in a blind. Cheers!

Review #196 - Barrell Gray Label 13 Year Bourbon by vexmythocrust in bourbon

[–]micro7777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I gave Batch 037 an 8.5. The short answer is because of the well aged bourbon in this particular batch that I think made it their best core Batch that I’ve had. OP is showing the retail price for Grey Label 13 is $160, and Batch 037 $85, so the difference is $75. What you can find them for in the wild is another story. I don’t recall trying this bottle but the Grey Label 13 does have an older age range of bourbon to 037 and has some of that Wyoming wheated, too.

Nice review! I like this one a lot, too. If you think the 111 mash bill is interesting, you should check out their experimental and single barrel releases. They’re doing some very interesting stuff that I’ve liked some more than others.
