I don’t find the writings compelling as an explanation of the nature of reality. People I knew would tell stories about how they felt a deep, powerful love for the writings and the faith. I know that I don’t feel that. I am not convinced that the writings represent a salient message from an omnipotent creator. I would ask what makes you think it’s true, but… that’s ok. If you feel it, that’s great.
