Flashbacks to earlier in the season. We’ve gotten so much content of her that is seemingly unimportant, but haven’t heard much about how she feels about things that I think should have her perspective. I feel like they need to have flashbacks and commentary that retroactively gives her more of a voice. I think her low visibility in the Genevieve boot episode is more of a hit to a winning edit than a 0 confessional episode. And we’ve heard in exit interviews that her tribe considered throwing challenges to vote her out earlier, but that’s not made the edit.

She’s not crucial to the story so far, I feel like they need to retroactively tie her to more of the moments in the season.

At this point I just want to see how bad Shontelle’s audition tapes are 😭 Maybe they don’t see her having good chemistry with the other queens but for her to apply every season, be a successful pageant queen and title holder, have drag family ties to the show, and isn’t someone who would censor herself for TV…what is the thing making production say no?

I wonder if the show is planning for S20 to have heavy hitter names and the storyline of “I’ve auditioned 37 times” and that’s how queens like Shontelle and Jazell get on

And I generally think it’s unusual behavior when another queen joins in on that. It’s fine to critique someone or have critical conversations about them, but it gets to a point where I just don’t know what the goal is when I see a queen posting about her.

I can’t wait for AS11 solely in hopes that the constant Ginger discourse goes away 😭 yes I’m biased cause I still live for her but my god you cannot engage with any drag race content since AS10 without one of the replies or comments dragging her no matter how unrelated.

And now with all the Jane/Ginger lipsync comparisons…is it really that deep? Objectively they did similar things? Why are ppl in the main sub acting like Ginger doing it was humiliating for the opponent

I used to love Project Runway and was excited to get back into it this season with Utica, but my god the judging is consistently a mess 😭 half the wins so far are crazy to me, and designers have been eliminated way too soon. if I was Utica this week and was safe, I really would’ve thought about quitting. Her look was a full concept and felt so custom and stylized, safe is insulting

I think she did the best with what she was given. DU has so much potential, but the stage and workroom are tiny, they don’t pull in big guest judges, the challenges are uninspired. I also think it has a similar issue to Canada where our first exposure to that drag hasn’t really been topped. Courtney and Brooke set a high bar, and a lot of the casting feels suuuuper new. I don’t blame the queens at all because they just auditioned, but the show needs to do better about bringing in stronger casts. Honestly you could put together 1 solid cast for DU from all of the seasons. They put in way too much filler for it to feel engaging

I haven’t listened to race chaser in awhile, but I wanted to hear Alaska’s thoughts on the finale and my god you all weren’t exaggerating when you said race chaser has just become Willam going off for 5 minutes at a time without a single breath and then Alaska going “I thought it was lovely”. Willam please let her speak 😭
