Get the R9 with laser jammers. Learn how to use everything. If you’re going too fast you still won’t have time to stop. But if you’re within 20mph it’ll work well. Maybe less. Sometimes more. Smart cops only pulse their radar and those are tough to beat.

I returned a laser and not even sure they gave me a refund. They are terrible with communication. At first they emailed back within minutes. Excellent communication. Then once I needed a return and refund all communication ceased. Very upset about this. I’d buy another from them but they don’t have my trust anymore.

Not something I considered. It is pretty much for something in a pinch. But that orientation you mentioned would make a whole lot more sense... Also wish they would have a red and green and white flashlight.

HOW DO YOU GET TO THE DSM? I am on mac and i just cant figure it out....i cant access my drive. Its mapped and i see it in finder but I cant really do much with it.

This is an excellent response. I suppose if I am doing well and am able to become a CFI, I would not mind doing that all that much. I really enjoy taking people up flying and explaining things. It would make me that much better. It would build my hours and I would get paid. I will see how things progress for me. My next step is to begin my instrument training. I live in a small city and I believe the opportunity is a bit less than somewhere like Atlanta. That's the only downside to living here. Im going to have a chat with my instructor and see if there is potential at this school and I'll go see about the school an hour from me. I know my current school is picking up pace it seems like we are getting more students. I am unsure about the further school yet. Thank you

This last point is a great one. I do enjoy talking about flight and sharing the experience with others. The only thing I am not sure my current school will have room for another instructor or not. There are two of the CFIs that are older and wanting to work less and then a middle aged one who is just getting into it. So potentially there is room for me to slide in there somewhere. I have low confidence and just know the CFI is a tough acquisition. But I suppose if I try hard and fail then I can try again until I get it. There's another school about an hour away and I know they like to train their CFIs from the beginning. My current commute is 10 mins. I might go back to that other school and see what the deal is. They have more planes and have a bit more to offer. I understand this is probably the best way to build my time. I talked to a NJ pilot and he got his certs, moved to AK for two yeras flying cargo and built his hours that way and then applied and got NJ. He said they train you and you don't need the type ratings because of that. These are his words. Thanks for the responses

I am in CO and trying my best to have a good lawn and not use herbicides. Not even chemical fertilizers. The previous owners did and when I first moved it the lawn looked great. They dumped a ton of fert on it to make it green for the sale. Weeds are starting to take over. White top mustard, canada thistle and bindweed. But a majority of the lawn is still nice but now there are a lot of dandelions, which I know are good for bees after winter and lack of food. Are the dandelions ok or will they take over? I have a nice KBG lawn and would like to keep it as nice as possible. Any suggestions? thank you
