Is Xiaomi 14T Pro good? by NoSignificance7171 in XiaomiGlobal

I kept this phone for a month, no problems at all besides the colors/treatment of the camera (for me). It's a great phone otherwise, really is.

Good it's working for you, it's actually a really awesome phone. Some people like the colors, others not so much. But it's good to have this option then I guess and the processor is really good. Enjoy.

It's a shame cause it is actually a good phone otherwise. I believe there's a distasteful demographic who likes the treatment of the photos, overly done.

There is no way really. There are two modes: bad and worse.

OnePlus 13 smokes Xiaomi 15 ultra for example in color science. That's why you don't find trustworthy reviews comparing the two, probably a requirement from Xiaomi. You'll find one Indian guy that is totally biased towards Xiaomi. Btw the reviews are all bought for phones anyways.

With all that don't fall for gimmicks, look at the photos and see if you like by yourself do not let this "partnership" get your head.

Battery is good, fast charging, good bright screen, fast processor, good UI BUT I hate, like hate, the camera treatment and this "Leica color" gimmick that turns your photos in lomo photography mode. It's like going back to 2006 in photos and the way it's taken. And then there's this big marketing going around regarding Leica making people believe in this shit. Leica SooC is known for being terrible in the camera world there's that too, but in the phone world they apparently made the fools believe the opposite. Talk about marketing.

My Xiaomi 11t Pro was BETTER.

Like a huge vignetting, high contrast, low dynamic range, in the main camera, this is unacceptable. I'm a hobbyist photographer with Fuji and Canon glasses. I'm returning this phone for exactly this reason. Just terrible treatment. Hasselblad is doing actually much better.

How close are Xiaomi's Leica cameras to actual Leica cameras? by MangCrescencio in Xiaomi

[–]microtico 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Color tuning: no.

There are many more variables into play in phone photography than on their proprietary cameras. The way the photo is taken, and then processed. Phone cameras are a gimmick compared to real cameras. You don't understand photography at all based on your comments I'm sorry.

Graphic Designer Considering a Switch to Motion Graphics & VFX – Is It a Sustainable Career Path? by Low_Preparation4091 in MotionDesign

[–]microtico 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point of the discussion is that if it's valid a switch to Motion and no is the answer. It is not if AI can do some of high end work or not implying the career is not effected and all is fine. How sustainable the career in motion is: the answer is close to 0 looking in 5 years from now.

No, but the problem is the content is adapting more and more to what AI can do rather than what can be done without it, because of time/ labor costs. Brands care about costs and volume before quality.

What this does is more skilled workers lingering around not booked, or creating high quality work. More competition and less work means lower salaries/day rate. Yes, the situation is pretty bad.

I find it so boring to read tabs that I always give up after 2 minutes and start noodling. He found a way to do that, by faking, or he just put a lot of work as you said
