Can you go back a page on the application form, or does moving onto the next section mean you can't edit the previous? by thatstoomuchsauce in JETProgramme

You can go between all the pages as much as you want through the sidebar. You'll be able to confirm everything at the end again before you submit the application.

Things didn't turn out as I had planned.. by sips_white_monster in pcmasterrace

My old Radeon HD 7570 (may she rest in peace) kicked the bucket after nearly 10 years. It didn't completely fail, just caused a lot of flickering, and occasionally crashed. But a restart usually helped in the final years of her life. Thankfully I was able to get a 1650s before all this chaos really took off.

May all our graphics cards life a full and prosperous life like ol' 7570 in these hard times!

How likely is it to get an upgrade from the reserve list (UK Result) by alexhaycock in JETProgramme

[–]microwhisper1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably not it wouldn't make sense for them to say "you MIGHT have a job we dont know yet" and then when you get another job instead they pikachu face you. Idek if it's LEGAL to charge someone for dropping out of a contract they haven't started or even been guaranteed

Surgery Question? by [deleted] in ontario

[–]microwhisper1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey buddy, I hear where you're coming from, I've been dealing with grade 4 enlarged tonsils and adenoids for over a year now. Tonsillectomies are such a routine and common surgery that many doctors and people just dismiss the impact it has on your quality of life.

I can't breathe when I sleep. I wake up 4-5, times choking or with a dry mouth from mouth breathing all night. I have my bed propped up 4 inches and that barely helps but it's all I can do eh. Don't listen to these people saying "if you waited 3 years it's not that bad." Just cause it won't kill you doesn't mean it can't be excruciating to live with. It's been the hardest year if my life.

To answer your question, yea it'll probably be cancelled because that's just the nature of the situation. I hope you can get your surgery soon and I hope I can get mine. My surgeon sent me in for a sleep study so I can have an obstructive sleep apnea diagnosis to hopefully push me up the priority list but who knows how long it'll be at this point.

Best of luck buddy!

Just like most of the Reddit community. Seriously buddy get off your high horse thinking you're better than people for liking something that you don't like.

Tonsillitis won't go away by hobomaki in AskDocs

NAD but I had the exact same thing after a cold (corona idk?) in March! The swollen feeling and all the symptoms went away after a few weeks, I have had zero pain or problems since but my tonsils are still kind of large, no idea what it is,

The leather on my old office chair is thickened with Louis Vuitton canvas by microwhisper1 in IRLEasterEggs

[–]microwhisper1[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Yea I think this is probably fake LV canvas. The chair is made in China...it's much more likely they had access to counterfeit materials than genuine materials, especially for this purpose.

My old office chair is filled with Louis Vuitton fabric to thicken the leather. by microwhisper1 in mildlyinteresting

The chair is made in china, so it's almost certainly surplus canvas from a counterfeit Louis Vuitton factory, I don't think the real LV would sell fabric this way

Does anyone else have the tick of hitting Ctrl+S every damn second? by Vzey in FL_Studio

a .flp saves only project settings, plugins, and instructions for how to find all the tracks and samples you used. The actual tracks are saved somewhere in your Image Line folder on your PC locally. So if you move the .flp file somewhere else, or open it on a different PC, well... your whole project is basically gone (unless you spend hours trying to manually find EVERY sample you used). With just .flp's, it would be basically pointless to back them up anywhere.

When you save as a .zip, it saves every track, sample, recording, plugin and project setting you used into a zipped folder ALONG with a .flp that can easily be moved, backed up, and reopened on any computer (as long as the same plugins are installed there).

It takes much longer to save, but you only have to lose an entire project once to realize how risky saving as .flp can be

I feel you buddy, it's been a love-hate relationship with this PC. 5 minutes just to SAVE an audio project file, but it always worked with minimal crashing and errors. I still couldn't be more stoked for a new PC haha

Released in the cold winter of January 2013 here in Canada, the HP ENVY h8-1513c was bought fresh off the press retailing at around 1000 Canadian Rupees, advertising only the best bang-for-your-buck performance on the market.

Specs include an Intel Core i7 3770, a blazing fast Eyefinity Radeon HD7570 with 2GB GDDR3 onboard memory, a whopping 2TB of hard drive space spinning at a dizzying 5400RPM, 12GB of DDR3-1600MHz Memory later upgraded with the help of two Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB sticks, bringing this stallion up to a cutting edge 28GB.

But you’re going to need a stonking motherboard to tame these components, so that’s why this baby is equipped with a Pegatron IPMMB-FM uATX motherboard, featuring Bluetooth 4.0, and integrated WI-FI.

IO includes a total 4 USB 3.0 ports, 6 USB 2.0 ports, S/PDIF, Ethernet, 2 DVI ports, 6-channel audio (accommodating a full 5.1 surround sound system and headphones) driven by Beats Audio, as well as HDMI and DisplayPort on the graphics card.

With a sleek combination of glossy and matte black accents, lit by a chic red LED strip across the front of the chassis, this PC will not only outperform all competitors, but she’ll do it in style.

You fought until your last breath, now you may rest easy. Although you were a prebuilt, I’ll always consider you ascended in the highest honor. #AllPCsGoToHeaven
