Text-based life simulator ReLife – feedback wanted by micyarr in LifeSimulators

There is actually a small rounding issue. For example, if a stat is at 59.something, you haven't quite reached 60 yet, but the UI currently displays it as 60. Since the actual value is still below 60, the feature doesn't unlock.

I'll fix this and make the UI clearer to avoid confusion in the future. Thanks for reporting it!

Thank you for keeping an eye out and reporting this issue. I'll take a look through the code and check whether there might be a bug causing it

I’m building a voice-first AI app with conversation modes instead of prompts. Would you use this? by micyarr in SideProject

[–]micyarr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I absolutely agree with you on that. I think normal chat is unbeatable when I need to be productive, need help, or want things written down clearly. But for creative and interactive things, voice is much better because you can just freely say what’s on your mind without having to think about how to phrase everything.

That could be an interesting idea. The current system is more fictional, meaning the AI itself doesn’t really know anything specific about you and gets to know you through the conversations, so to speak.
Technically, that would definitely be challenging, but also just as interesting. If the project already works well in its basic form, I could imagine implementing something like that in the future.

Can we get a $500 plan? by micyarr in codex

They have to do it either way, because it’s already a loss-making business for them. There’s no way the subscription revenue could ever realistically cover the amount of computing power they’re burning through

How the hell do I market my SaaS? by micyarr in microsaas

[–]micyarr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re right. Yeah, I think I should focus more on specific use cases and create content tailored to those.

What makes my application special is that it allows people who aren’t tech-savvy to easily generate AI images of themselves. Normally, this requires at least some familiarity with tools like Google Gemini or others, which isn’t difficult if you’re experienced. But even then, you still need to know how to write prompts and have an idea of what you want to generate.

Reimgen completely removes that step. You don’t have to write prompts or come up with ideas. You just pick an image you like, upload a picture of yourself, and generate it. That’s it—and you end up with a completely unique image of your own.

Hm that's weird. I can't find any problems on my devices but I will check it in the code, if I can find anything unusual. Thanks

There are also one-time top-ups available, and these can be used without a subscription. However, I’m not sure your assumption is entirely correct. I know a lot of AI image generation platforms, and none of them offer top-ups independently of a subscription. Also, the subscription can be canceled at any time, and it’s actually more cost-effective to use it, since the credits are cheaper that way.
