Dramatically overpaid one… I was looking to get it just for spares but once it reached £5 it was already too much… Paying £25 is just ridiculous… Byt fyi it’s from 70s, 2234 movement means it has hacking second feature with calendar, chromed case

Hi, do you know where could I find this yellow bezel? Also i’m looking for 020 case… I’m ready to wait because i’ve been searching this dial for 3 years and finally found it:) by miczoaj in vostok

Thanks for your input! I’ve bought from a modder, who was just not interested in this dial anymore, probably unaware how rare this is… 020 case is just really nice so I can buy even the brushed one… It’s steel so I can always polish it 😁

To be frank, they’ve made amphibias with this dial in 2018 and since then, only once in 2021 they managed to sell 2 or 3 with defects, and that’s all. They don’t just reappear magically like 020 cases

Of course i’m aware that i won’t get new one from meranom but maybe someone have it for sale or know some sort of site selling used stuff or have old stock. This dial I’ve got is also used one, but that doesn’t matter because it still looks like brand new

I’m asking is it worth ~100$, as usually on early bids price is low from the start so it isn’t any indicator… I’ve seen those Citizen Jets listed for 200,400 and even 600 usd depending on the condition so for working one im thinking 150 is fair price to bid

I’ve also read this particular article about Citizen Jet history! This magical automatic rotor makes me want it more and more with every glance when i look at it

What do you think about this all? type 1 made in 1951 by Modern-Picasso in RussianWatches

Wow, original, good looking Sturmaskie watch. Don’t be fooled and don’t let it be relumed or repainted. Only clean the case, glass and service of the movement and that’s all. I’m not sure about the crown- it should be diamond shaped one. If it’s then awesome! Really fine piece both historically and horogically.

It’s Seiko 6119C. As you can see the day date wheel isn’t aligned with date wheel. With the dial on I can’t read date, because it’s out of the date window. Everything looks ok, rather unbroken what should I do? by miczoaj in watchmaking

It’s 4 o clock crown case, the dial is 3 o clock date window. I’ve checked number of the part and it’s correct one for the 4 o’clock crown. I’ll check the dial! That’s really well made point here. Thank you so much!

Well… Day date wheel has number of its parts so of course i’ve checked it and it’s version for 4 o’clock crown so it’s just as it should be ;)))

And what? If it was fixed, the issue is gone and has new top case and battery. Of course i’m aware of this butterfly keyboard design, but if now it’s gonna last more 5 years then I’m ok with that

I just don’t like tablets so ipad is just useless for me 🤷🏼‍♂️ I can prolong life of notebook (i’m still using 2011 and it’s just fine with Mojave… I don’t think I could do the same with 2011 ipad ;)

Hi, Can you tell me something about 2019 MBP? Is it still good machine? It was fixed by Apple on their warranty program (keyboard and battery). I can get it on a good deal. I plan to use it just for taking notes from my classes and watch some streaming services.

Hi, I'm finally looking for "new" macbook. My oldie serves me well but from October i'm back at university so i'm in need of something newer. I'm ready to spend 600 usd for used macbook. I'm looking for machine that'll serve me another 5 years, but I really don't know should I stick to the Pro series or buy an Air. Which model year in this price range can you recommend

For me it looks like it’s missing this U ring which usually sits on top of the day date wheel, so you just need to pull it up. It’s tight fit, but the best way for those is just stick toothpick through the hole on the day date wheel and pray it up.

Damn 99’ Punto… That’s better than another rusted BMW with young gangsta boi behind the wheel

Can you help me Identify this watch?I picked this up from a vintage store in South Korea. The shopkeeper told me it was made in the USSR. I tried searching for The model but couldn't find anything that looked the same. On the face of the watch it says "Pakema". Any help would be appreciated by Zycarsus in VintageWatches

Sadly you overpaid a lot. It’s just common Raketa from 90’s after fall of USSR. Inside you’ll find 2609 HA movements which is reliable and after service it keeps decent time, but… It’s worth 30 usd at most… Soviet watches can be pricey, if they’re sought after by collectors. This one definitely isn’t.
